You are probably new to the game @Evilappetite. This is an L1 building for Commercial. When your RCI increases, buildings will despawn and upgrade to L2 and L3 for Commercial. If you want to place this building and keep it there, you can use mods like Find It, Move It, or TPB's Plop the Growables to keep the building in-game at the location you desire without it despawning. Theses stores are known as Couche Tard where I live. Same logo, same color pattern. Virtually all of them have an Ultramar gas station attached to the convenience store.
