Thanks, I saw this several months later. I gave up unpacking it and moved on. This helps a ton. Ironically there are more carriers to strikecraft in this mod so I can barely field 4-6 complete carrier strike groups. Thanks again, and its been good talking to you. Been a fan since UAW.

Yeah, they have an open Git Depository of the uncompiled files. You can grab those and run it with your changes as a local mod.
also question about HW2 FX, why are the textures for the taiidan using the old ones? always wondered why but never remembered to make a comment til now lol

As for HW3, personally I think the foundation is there. Gameplay has issues but looks salvageable with some patches. Story is a blight on the franchise.
For modding it depends on how much GBX and BBI will commit with patches and modding tools, and how much of an issue Denuvo will be. It's too early to tell.
Is it is a sub mod overall that includes the Homeworld Mobile ships into FX Galaxy Remastered? Also; is it just me or is the difficulty extremely hard even on easy while using A New Age? AI spams everything within 2 minutes.
But ultimately, it all depends on how far we can go on HW3..without BBI's support, everything would be difficult. HW3 came out the other day, some of us haven't even finished the campaign, so it's too early to tell yet )
@Jiaory: Pressing the same shortcut as the camera that you bound to should undo it, otherwise restarting the game should help.

but,
the way you upgrade your technology is convoluted. it takes time to understand what you need to do to unlock the next units which is a big design flaw.
it takes so much time to unlock everything one by one (as you cannot unlock the tech you want but need to unlock everything one after the other instead, which is another big design flaw.) that you just spam the carriers untils you get to build frigates. which create a silly carrier warfare early - midgame if you have enough ressources.

Its got like 20 frigates and 5 capital ships and it's impossible to do anything because it's just spam spam spam
-Have the person with the most stable/best internet connection host the room. Do a speedtest with your friends to find out who this is.
-Connect an Ethernet cable instead of using WiFi.
-Disable the [Tactical Report] option in Multiplayer.
-Lower your graphics settings, and limit the clutter on the screen. Examples:
*Stick to the [DEFAULT] unit cap, Battle Scars set to [OFF].
*Lower your texture quality to "6"/size limit to 4096 (or lower) in Options.
*Stick to 2v2 or smaller matches where possible.
*Use a smaller variety of races when you are with more people (instead of everyone using a different race).
*Play FX Competitive Deathmatch instead of normal FX Deathmatch.
+Catanchovy: Select FX Deathmatch as the gamemode.
