The wall in the starting chamber is flickering for me, also, but I found no other glitches. I played it twice and the palm-mural wall was behaving weirdly both times. Otherwise, fantastic chamber. Thanks for putting so much effort into this--it really shows! Looking forward to Part 2.

I guess the Union Aerospace Corporation has decided to work with Aperture to create a bigger, badder portal device. Or maybe the UAC has just rented out their office on Earth to Aperture. Either way that scrolling text makes no sense in context.
It stopped once I left the chamber, cause it took me about that long to finish
So it wasn't like a glitch or something
but it was an awesome map.

@PotatoGrenade No you shouldn't. Unless you stood there until it stopped. It should stop when you reach the bottom level.
Once I obtained 'Get Rekt' I had to listen to that song through the whole rest of the chamber...

@Genghis-Nightmare-Shitting-Khan It involves waiting for a few seconds next to a wall - a unique one that stands out from the rest. The achievement and the madrigal name gives it away. :P
One thing I'd like to suggest. Perhaps a NoDraw func_brush just inside the cube dropper. The next cube that's ready to drop can sit on it, and the brush can be toggled just after the dropper opens. This way the cube wont scrub on the opening during item_dropper_open. Unless you've already thought about it.
anyhow, nice map. I like the Rolodex numeric combo unlock.
