for everyone having consistency problems go into steam, right click L4D2, properties, launch options and put " +sv_consistency 0 " without quotes, that should fix it

Keep getting an error, something about "forcing consistency" on it. Try loading into a game, even single player, and it'll load the map then boot me out with that message.

Have you considered making her cries/sounds to a degree of distortion? to match her visage.

Everyone! if you are experiencing "Consistency errors" then go into a online room, make it private, press the ~ key and input the command, "sv_consistency 0"! it will fix your problems! you are welcome!

[GC] DroxiKnight - Some models of the witch don't work due to consistency errors and that's valves fault, For forcing hd mods in their TLS update on us, So it is what it is, Change to a new skin or work on a fix, Your not alone on this one.

Hm...I think this only works on SOLO mode. It doesn't work on online, if anyone is asking. Unless the server accepts it by "that" (sv_consistency 0) or the mod, this has come to a complete stop by the so-called "consistency errors". So, it's pretty much disappointing, considering this mod seems perfectly good on the Witch. typing it in the console at the menu or lobby screen DOES NOT WORK either. The online servers will just overwrite it back to "sv_consistency 1", since (obviously) they are cheat-proof.

"Having a different model period is what causes the issue. The mid-covid update made some changes. Consistency in source is typically just to force a check on the client to ensure the model files are the same period so they can't use them for cheating purposes (such as having a custom model with a giant head hitbox or something). Source is usually pretty good about that already though and I'm not sure why they only just started using it in a recent update but it means any custom infected models at all are likely not usable on vanilla servers.

The only way to make use of mods like this would be to host a listenserver or play on a server with consistency off rather than a vanilla steam server."
