Could something similar be achieved with pedestrian walkways? Maybe even create some sort of helix bridge walkway which would act as a nice refreshing change from the boring plain bridges that we all use currently.

Speaking of pedestrian walkways, do you think it would be possible to make a spiral ramp (maybe 2x2 or better 1x1 size) as a nice alternative to the basic ramps used to get to raised paths?
