Asset bugs: Workshop assets use private asset (American_Flag_Wall_Pole.American Flag (Wall Pole)_Data)

Thanks for fixing this

Is this aa eye candy building? No tourists but yet cost $8000 to maintain. No thanks

BTW, in a 300k city, this building receives absolutely no tourists whatsoever compared to other significantly smaller tourist buildings. That might be what's causing the problem.

Considered to be game breaking since the crime rate issue absolutely ruins cities. If you could update this in some way to lower the crime rate and light up the windows, that'd be great!

Like others, I've had the crime issue. The vanilla Business Park also has had these issues, and it also draws many more people in than other buildings.

I'm no expert on the subject, but it would probably benefit the asset if the visitor count was cut down.

I have the crime rate issue too. I have a police station next to it, and have tried to place it multiple times. I think the police can't find a way to get to it.

Hi,

Thanks for a great building. I did notice that the flags (props) don't load properly and after checking the Cities Skylines log file I saw that it couldn't find the flag prop despite it being installed. So I opened up Chicago_Board_Of_Trade.crp with a hex editor and saw that the flag name is (kind of) doubled up.

That is it trying to load "American_Flag_Wall_Pole.American Flag (Wall Pole)" instead of "American Flag (Wall Pole)" (or whatever its correct name is). I noticed that some other assets uploaded about 10-17 April on Steam had the same problem and one way to work around it was changing the prop name in the Asset Editor, but with this one it's too long.

Your work is absolutely first rate. Thank you for helping to make my cities come alive!

very nice building, thanks, merci!

@VeeSPIKE - I don't know why just my Chicago skyscrapers have crime issues. The game's crime rate algorithm must rely on the number of tourists, because that's the only thing that I significantly changed compared to base game buildings.

Anyone else having a problem with crime rate in this building? I parked it next door to a police station, and it is always complaining about high crime. And consequently, not functioning. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=432743834

Awesome work man, love to see all these chicago buildings. Im currently making as close to possible map of chicago, these buildings are gonna make it that much better. Maybe get a united center, Wrigley field goin. so many buildings to choose from. would love to see the thompson center, marina city buildings or wrigley building to give a few suggestions

@mbevi86 - Not as of this time. However, My 1:1.5 Scale Version uses an updated LOD texture that should not have any issues.
Mike 18 Apr, 2015 @ 4:04pm
any luck on the 1:1 texture fix? :)

many assets ,like bruz kalifa, was too high but this asset is appropriate even 1:1 :)

and you made 1:1.5 scale! what a wonderful guy :) thx to your effort!

@xpjhx - This is 1:1 scale, so if anything the base game buildings are unnecessarily short. :) I am planning on making a scaled down version soon.
xpjhx 17 Apr, 2015 @ 4:14am
can you make smaller ver? custom assets are too tall unnecessarily nowadays
obv 16 Apr, 2015 @ 9:34am
no no this scale is very good a like scale 1:1 ;)
jaspinko  [author] 16 Apr, 2015 @ 8:03am
@Frog - Yes, this is 1:1 scale. I thought I'd have to scale it down to fit in with the game, but the building actually turned out to be small enough in real life so as to not stand out too badly.
obv 16 Apr, 2015 @ 3:58am
god building and scale
frog, I think this at the scale 1: 1
Frog 16 Apr, 2015 @ 1:16am
Is this 1:1? Stunning I gotta say
jaspinko  [author] 15 Apr, 2015 @ 11:04pm
@mbevi86 - I see what you mean, the game auto-generates a texture when zoomed away. While this could have been fixed when importing the model, I'm not sure I can update it without creating a new workshop item. I'll look into it for you.

great building, backside of building has texture issue when zooming away, any chance that can be fixed?
