Hi, just tried your mod (love the concept) and noticed that your building to convert wild animal skin into leather, the limit is set by the clothing category, not the textiles. Although the icon next to the limit field is the textile icon (leather).

Thank you for the reply. I have tried again just in case the first did not go through. I am enjoying this mod very much, especially how the fruit and nut trees are in small groups scattered on the map. Feels like my bannies find small treasures and encourages new building arrangements so as not to cut the trees down. Thanks again! :)

Thanks for this fun mod, and especially for allowing various versions. :) I have returned to Banished after several years and have been enjoying playing with the mods this time. I would love to try out several of your, Kid's and other mods on WorldofBanished, but it seems my registration has gone unanswered for several days now. Would you or anyone here know of a way to contact an admin at WorldofBanished so I can get my registration on track? TIA.

@Sona: I have been retired from modding for a very long time. But you're right, I had made a beta V2 of the mod that was an exclusivity for the members of the WorldOfBanished forum. As for my other mods it was made with what is now an old version of the modkit so you might encounter issues. Any chance that you will add an option where animals drop leather, without the need for the tannery? Making the tannery takes too much time and resources when Im playing on the Adam and Eve setting, plus, it looks kind of silly to have this huge tannery next to my little tent.
Or, maybe just add a smaller, more simple version, like a tanning rack? Would be most appreciated!

I added your mod, enabled it, started a new game, but I only see deer on the map
I am playing Banished 1.0.7
I have the CC mod installed also. Would it had an effect on your mod.

@Littlelamb: I have not played Banished for over two years so I can't say if it totally works with the lastest version. In any case, I didn't got any report of malfunction. Wild animals can't be domesticated.

@stielhandgranate: this mods create wild versions of the different pasture animals, it does not allow you to breed the original wild animals in pastures.

This makes the game too laggy because the animal population is massively increased. I think it would be good if the total map animal population stayed the same as in a regular game just with the variety.

I'm not sure, but I think my foresters are cutting down my fruit trees. Is this true, and is there a way to stop it without turning off the foresters?

Also, I think it would be nice if the Tanner's road area was made similar to Tighter Roads's road areas.

Also, this is one of my favorite mods. I really love seeing the wild animals running around. :steamhappy:

@Sneaky: Wild animals and similar content are generated at the map creation so you need to start a new city to enjoy this mod content :)

@Penicorn: I actually don't remember, it has been too long since I last played it. I'll let you try by yourself or let other people answer these questions.

I was curious; if I plant an orchard and destroy the orchard, will wild fruit trees start to grow? and in the forester plant/cut option, if i have an entire forest of fruit trees, will the cut them down and replace them with normal trees or fruit trees?

@Inardesco: did you choose an appropriate starting condition on the new game menu ? Are you sure there is no other mod you are using that modify the map or wild animals too ?

I've given it a go on a new game, still, only the deer, no wild livestocks or fruit trees

It conflicted with old growth forest, which I then unticked from the mod loading and TreeOfLife is on top of the mod list at the moment. I'll give it another go later today in a new map.

@Inardesco: then you must be using another mod that alter the map generation. Try placing TreeOfLife on top of your mod list before stating a new game :)

I did start a new game. I also can't see any fruit trees on the map however, the merchants that come by do show the wild meat in their inventory.

@Wyrd: Beautiful World and Tree Of Life are two mods that modifies the starting conditions of a given game/city. As a consequence, you can't use both at the same time on the same city. Depending on the order of your mods in the mod menu you will have access to either BW or ToL starting conditions.

Has this been tested at all with Beautiful World? You mentioned there MIGHT be conflicts, I just want to make sure they won't crash my game while still letting me use both mods. Honestly, this mod kit is alright, but it seriously needs a script extender or something....

it works with 1:1 year and the tannery from this mod is the only one wh can turn wild animal pelts to leather, the CC tannery looks the same but does not tan wild hides. be sure to put TOL above CC in your load order for any of it to work. love the mod, wish i could still play CC starting scenerios tho. but having wild animals and fruit trumps a llama statue any day lol. so far my only wild livestock have been milk cows sheep and chickens.

@sandshark233: the ToL wild fruit trees and animals are linked to ToL starting conditions, you won't have them if you don't use a ToL starting condition. Since I have shared all my codes with the BlackLiquid team, I believe the tannery of the CC 1.5+ mod is based on mine (like the custom wild animals concept). I can't answer you about the conflicts since I haven't played Banished since CC 1.4.

I love the idea behind this mod. I'm wondering if it's compatible with the latest versions of CC? I'm specifically wondering if the tannery in this mod conflicts with the CC tannery. Is anyone playing Tree of Life with CC: New Frontiers or The Forge Awakens that can let me know how it works? Also, if I place this mod below CC to get the CC starting conditions, will wild fruit trees and animals still spawn? Thanks it advance!
