OK update for everyone following: I removed (unsubbed) all the station assets and saved a game with stations gone from my map.
After renabling (resubbing) the assets I can place new ones fine. I can move placed ones fine. But deleting them still throws a "Object reference not set to an instance of an Object " error.
We can now at least fix our subway system and use the original assets. Better just never want to remove em :D

@everyone apparently others are able to delete stations after using the mod Avanya posted. I'm going to try unsubbing the mod and reapplying to see if that helps. Will report back.

Also spent hours to find the issue of my broken city.. this it is.. :( and idd, you can't delete it anymore after placing it

@everyone these stations are still broken. The Mod Avanya listed will work to stop your game from crashing, but you will not be able to remove a station once it has been placed. Such a shame, these were the best metro stations in the game :(

Anyone having issues, get this mod, make sure you enable it and your save will no longer be broken.

Incompatible with Sunset Harbour. Also very difficult to delete from your city. Shame because I loved the logic of dampening the sound with a bigger building.

Nice stations that aren't working no more since the last update :(

Unfortunately, the update broke it by changing how metro lines work.
