where can i find this "kreeg's electronic blade". i searched through the things kreeg has released and couldnt find a script or standalone mod. is it part of another mod like a pack?

Umm. This blade is just Projectile Trail. Space Engineers doesn't draw trail in short range anymore for unclear reasons, maybe to decrease graphic load. So it need to make effect as blade by script, like Kreeg's Electronic blade.

Hey Arara do you have any idea if this mod is even possible to get working anymore? A lot of us engineers are sad that we can no longer make Gundams lol. I would appreciate it and I'm sure many others would if you could either 1) try to fix this mod up, or 2) release the source code so we can re-make it

Sir, it semms that when i try placing this down, it does not show up, therefore i cant use it

On Current Version, "Blade" is not visible, except while you moving not straight to the grid..I couldn't estimate actually what cause this.

not sure why but i do not see any visual effects when using these I fil weapons up with their correct ammo and they work and destroy grids and everything, but i do not actually see the "beam" or "plasma flare" or what ever you want to call it. is there any solutions for this a setting I may have missed?

could you make a version of this where you use a projector to create the blade and have it so that there is an extra slider in the ui that changes damage and energy consumption respectivly or is this too much to ask?

It seems trail drawing had be changed. Trails can't be visible in the near of the muzzle. So trails can't be blades now..

Added Small Dagger Unit for all color. Short range, low damage, 2000 Ammo/box

It is intentionally OP. The damages had be set very high to be effective to heavy armors in momentary contact in high-speed combat. Also It means the blade will be useful when small fighters are rushing INTO a battleship or a stronghold. It will OP (and high consumption) if the target was already stopped or lesser armed.

For what purpose do you need shorter and weaker blades? and which do you need variable damage or only weaker one? is it able to be ammo(weaker unit) or need new blocks/systems?

Okay.. it was not conflict. Just this mod got the issue.
It seems projectile trails drawing method had be replaced.
I removed RemoveTrailOverlay.

I don't know how the energy weapons work but it may using default tracer texture for drowing its laser.
I didn't touch turret laser, i changed tracer texture because it was bit dirty. now the texture had be fix, I'll remove RemoveTrailOverlay..

FYI, this mod is conflicting with the energy weapons mod. It cause the laser wepaon to loose its red laser, however, it still fires and do damages, but you just won't see the red laser. Just putting this out there for visibility.

i use this for boarding drones and can you make it able to destroy ores so it can be used to mine as well so it can mine through asteroids that are in the way?

My friends always have blades with their fighters and the blade work good in fight.
Though you didn't love to ram, still you have any way to use the piece(ex. see that Torpedo.

Interesting concept, but WHY would you need to engage in literal knife fights in a ship with guns I don't know. If you're out of ammo and don't want to ram, you should flee or send your crew.

An enhanced (longer range) plasma lance for large ships would be great. I have been thinking about an enhanced thruster with minimal thrust but longer and brighter flame and thruster damage for a while, but sadly I'm no modder.
