I really like your Kart track and have been using it for a while, thank you! However, I've recently started having issues with RAM usage (too many awesome assets subscribed! :D) so I've been checking my subscribed assets for heavy files, and I'm afraid this one is very problematic. Each one of the kart props are roughly 10 Mb each, which makes having the complete Kart Race track well over 100 Mb...a bit too much for one single building! Any chance of reducing the size of those props? Thanks!

I'm not sure what the issue is, and I can't find much information about the error, although it has occurred on some other models by other people as well.

If I were to guess, I suspect it could be graphics card related, the amount of video memory perhaps, but that's just a guess.

Thanks for the tip - I'll have a look at doing that

Could you create a collection with all the props to have an easier life?

These are meant for buildings. But you can use them anywhere. Just keep in mind that the cims will get in the park there and go in either a direct line to the assemble points (I didn't look up the correct english term for it) or will use footpaths.
Kinkster  [author] 26 Apr, 2015 @ 5:07am
Thanks, I've used the assemble points in a few places but not entry/exit points as I've assumed that was for buildings. I'm gonna try it out.

Hey there. Good work. If you choose a park in the editor, there is a tool on the very right.
You used it for the smoke. It also includes options to make the cims assemble and entry/exit where you want to. This way you can control their positioning. Hope this helps in stopping thre cims walking across the track.

Kinkster  [author] 25 Apr, 2015 @ 6:45am
Woot - that's good to hear
BLÀde 25 Apr, 2015 @ 6:37am
yeah it's good now
Kinkster  [author] 24 Apr, 2015 @ 5:18pm
I experienced the same issue (I think) in that I ended up with an empty track even though the assets were downloaded. I had to add the props all over again to make it. Hopefully this update will help you.
BLÀde 23 Apr, 2015 @ 10:45pm
i got all the props installed but this still appears as an empty track?
"MrHindsight" 23 Apr, 2015 @ 4:41pm
This is so very cool! Thank you for this!
Kinkster  [author] 23 Apr, 2015 @ 5:50am
Thanks Blade, I'll upload them later today and update this page.
BLÀde 23 Apr, 2015 @ 3:21am
here's an example of what you need to do: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=426869716

props don't don't included with assets.
BLÀde 23 Apr, 2015 @ 3:19am
if you don't have the props installed you won't see the track properly. if you use props you need to list which ones are needed to make this look properly. otherwise you'll just see a blank concrete slab.
Kinkster  [author] 23 Apr, 2015 @ 2:46am
It is built using props I've built - the reason for that is that I was planning to release them so people can build their own track. However, does that mean you don't see anything when you plop it down? A screenshot perhaps please.
BLÀde 23 Apr, 2015 @ 2:06am
you forgot to mention it needs props AND it has white brick icon.
leftbehind 23 Apr, 2015 @ 12:32am
A non-white background would make them look better. Maybe find pic on internet of go karts and do some image manipulation (eg. make it cartoon or halftone or something with a phone app)?
Kinkster  [author] 22 Apr, 2015 @ 11:33pm
Funny enough I think the same thing, I'm not totally happy with them. It looks too bare without them, but they really do need improving. Problem is I'm no artist :( I'll try and come up with a few more designs to replace them with, or feel free to contribute one - I'm happy to give credit if it gets included.

The billboard signs let it down IMHO; the rest of it is awesome!
