This actually has little sims come to the park and enjoy their time. Really really like this one. Tyvm.

I haven't tried it yet. But it's the prettiest park I have seen so far

@derfuchsi
Sadly not or at least as far as i know not^^ you can only create spots of interest. But they still walk overall to get there, so. You just have to live with water walking people;)
derFuchsi 1 Oct, 2015 @ 2:16am
Looks Awesome. Just what i looked for. Thank You for this one !
Only one thing, it looks a little strange when i see people hovering over the "water" :). Is is not possible to define zones where people can walk and where not ?

@uber-noobie
Thank you very much for the feedback. At least i know now it works for others too and i am happy that you like it:) I updated the rest of the water collection too, i will see if i find the time for the other older assets. Wish you a nice day:)
Uber-n00bie 27 Sep, 2015 @ 1:10pm
Thanks for taking the time to update these so quickly! You did a great job with the lighting. :)
Tianlein  [author] 27 Sep, 2015 @ 2:51am
I updated the lake with some lights and it should work now with the new update. At least it did for me;)
Tianlein  [author] 26 Sep, 2015 @ 2:31pm
@uber-noobie
hehe yeah i will maybe try it then again;) Didnt touch the game for some months^^ So i didnt do anything with the mods too or checked the updates of the game:) But thank you very much for your tip. I see if i can do something at least for the assets which more people use:)
Uber-n00bie 26 Sep, 2015 @ 2:28pm
No problem. The free patch also just makes the entire game a lot prettier with full day/night cycles (nights look incredible), so it's worth at least playing. :)
Tianlein  [author] 26 Sep, 2015 @ 2:24pm
@uber-noobie
Thank you very much. I didnt know that:) I will try to look into that and see what i can do and if i find the time for that.
Uber-n00bie 26 Sep, 2015 @ 2:08pm
@Tianlein You can update them without the After Dark expansion for free, so you won't need it. If you have auto-updates for the game turned on, it will update the editor to include options for lights.
Tianlein  [author] 26 Sep, 2015 @ 10:22am
@Zoor i dont have the After Dark Add on and i guess i cant update them without it? But i did not check or look how that works. Sorry:/
Zoor 26 Sep, 2015 @ 9:48am
any chance for an After Dark update?

It seems this asset is generating lots of errors:

LOD has no base: 431049034.Lake Tian_Data [Core]

Mesh.vertices is too large. A mesh may not have more than 65000 vertices.

Mesh.normals is out of bounds. The supplied array needs to be the same size as the Mesh.vertices array.

Mesh.tangents is out of bounds. The supplied array needs to be the same size as the Mesh.vertices array.

Mesh.uv is out of bounds. The supplied array needs to be the same size as the Mesh.vertices array.

Mesh.colors is out of bounds. The supplied array needs to be the same size as the Mesh.vertices array.

Failed setting triangles. Some indices are referencing out of bounds vertices. IndexCount: 227136, VertexCount: 0

LOD vertex count high (15622 > 2080): 431007495.Saturn V_Data [Core]

It looks SO much better now. Thank you so much for listening and improving this already-great building!

As far as the colors go, that's really a taste-based preference (to use the word "fix" here is a bit harsh). In fact, I *prefer* this being slightly brighter than other parks, as its part of what makes it unique -- and it looks great. Thanks again. :)
leo 29 Apr, 2015 @ 3:11pm
hello, I really like this park, but the green is a bit "too green", it's brighter than the other parks and trees. would be great if you could fix this.
Tianlein  [author] 29 Apr, 2015 @ 10:56am
Hello LittleMikey,
no there are no extra props required. All is custom made in one model or are props from the
game itself provided(like the trees, benches etc).
LittleMikey 29 Apr, 2015 @ 4:21am
Does this park need any custom Props?
Tianlein  [author] 28 Apr, 2015 @ 2:24pm
Hello,
thank you for the suggestions and hints. I will look into it again and try to update it in the next days.
Uber-n00bie 28 Apr, 2015 @ 1:32pm
I think the other issue others have pointed out (the edges) is a bigger problem, and a lot easier to fix than the hill issue.

Even on the flattest ground possible, all of the edges are raised a fair amount above ground level. This much can be easily seen on the right side of the first screenshot. In-game it looks like the plot is sitting on an artificial green square, and because of this (even when completely flat), on one side you can even see through a hole *underneath* the ground. This can easily all be fixed by either lowering the edges (as Kairyu mentioned), or lowering the height of the entire park to match the edges.

Any other issue it may have can be easily-overlooked imo. Regardless, I LOVE this beautiful park and you did a phenomenal job.
Tianlein  [author] 28 Apr, 2015 @ 12:12pm
Hello Husbeard,
I have just tried to place it on a hill and I can see that it doesn't look as good as it should
look like.Unfortunately I do not know how to set an asset to be built on a flat ground. Do you
maybe know how I could edit my asset so it looks good on all terrains?

For the moment I would just suggest to use it on a flat surface.
Husbeard™ 28 Apr, 2015 @ 11:23am
Looks great, but it isn't built on a "Always Flat" surface.. So if you have a hill, this thing will be slanted.. Like.. a lot.
Somchai 28 Apr, 2015 @ 10:16am
wow Nice nice !!
Kairyu 27 Apr, 2015 @ 10:05pm
Can you lower edge of this asset? It is really nice, but its edge looks weired. Thx for your job! :B1:
hansitomjensen 27 Apr, 2015 @ 4:01pm
Love it. u did good here. thanks !
hhx008 27 Apr, 2015 @ 4:03am
really really nice
Tianlein  [author] 26 Apr, 2015 @ 11:46pm
Thank you Visu:) I know that they walk like that, but i have no clue how to force them to stop^^ And i didnt want to to give them only one little space at the entrance to hang around.

Im so happy about the positiv responds and votings:) Thank you all again:)
Visu 26 Apr, 2015 @ 7:21pm
This looks great. One note - people tend to walk over the water. No big deal though. Still looks great.
Tianlein  [author] 26 Apr, 2015 @ 12:05am
thank you all for your support:)
Keeou 25 Apr, 2015 @ 5:11pm
This looks really nice! I've been looking for a way to plop "water" in the city without using the terraform tool and this is the closest thing I've seen so far. Thanks!!
aussibec01 25 Apr, 2015 @ 8:34am
Sweet work you've done here, thanks !
Maxx 24 Apr, 2015 @ 7:27pm
Very nice addition!
Uber-n00bie 24 Apr, 2015 @ 10:13am
Agreed! Best looking water I've seen for a "building" in this game. Nicely done!
LegionOfMe 24 Apr, 2015 @ 9:32am
that's what I call a good looking lake :)
