great news guys with awesome move it mode you dont need no pillars mode. Simply move the pillars away or delete them if game creates them.

Hey, can anyone tell me how to make a bridge a 4-lane bridge without those nasty default steel arches over the road? I have the no pillars mod, so I have no pillars under the road I place, but I cant get rid of the stuff that generates on top (those arches) when I place a 4-lane road over water...

sorry going to intrude also, @captncrunchberry is right, i was also able to just change Ground Placement to "on surface" with Mod Tools, and i built a bridge going from the water over into the city on ground. With underwater/underground power cables everything is lit up fine. i have no idea how to take a screenshot and post it but if i figure it out i'll post. youll have to take my word for it for now :\

Sorry for my involvement, but ...
... maybe this can do the trick with your lightning of the bridge, if you have a problem?
- open your original assat in the AssetManager;
- expand the 'FootPrint' from the original 2 width to the max of 16 squares;
- put light on both pilars (+ on the top) where you want them;
- shrink the 'FootPrint' back to the original 2 squares...
... and there you are.

At least it works fine with me :steamhappy:

maybe Vip should change the asset to a electric asset so it can produce like 1MW power for its own use also it would not make park noise and spawn seaguls

you need to connect the pillar to the powergrid to make the lights work... you can use a underwater power cabel mod for that

for some unknown reason the illumination map don´t works. at knight i don´t have the lighted one of the pictures i have the unlighted day one

Maybe this wil help you?
You can build 2x 2-one-way-roads + 1x rail together on the same height in this beautifull bridge.
(It's a bit difficult... and costs a lot of building time... H@H@.
With the mod "TrafficManager:PresidentEdition" alter the speed of the roads.
With me, this bridge is 33m height?!?

Nice .... can you make this with higher road height .... the road currently sits at 30m height .... I need 45m and 60m height to allow for placement of train underneath the roadway and still have good clearance for ships (60m has better clearance than 45m but both work).

Hi vip, I managed to create a version of this asset that can be placed anywhere following this guide, which uses ModTools to change the asset's placement property . Can I upload a version with this change to the workshop? I'm wondering why you switched this property? Was it realated to waterflow issues?

Can you create a version of this mod that supports land placement? This is by far the best bridge mod on Steam. I've used it to recreate something akin to the millau viaduct, but with this update when I load that savefile the bridge "park" is gone.

Yes, this addon to spotlight shone need electricity connection. If you do not like the water that are the cable, the site where it has a mod that they were invisible.

I tried many times. Easily removed. Where there is light, on the pole, place and remove.

Ok, just replaced old bridge with new one without any problems. But I get the 'not connected' error and mine doesn't light up all pretty like the pics above.

I really like this Brigde. But I can´t use it on my river because of that "Dam" Problem. It would be great if you can fix that. I really want to have this Brigde on my Map :steamsad:

the "new flooding behavior" was a feature 4 me, hm seems not for the others
really nice bridge! build it 5 times in a map, serial and parallel. sometimes my CIMs abusing this bridge for suicide. it´s a feature too :)
