I really Love that one, but I think one part of grass looks a bit too pixely? And here in this mod it looks much smoother. It's the bigger grass. Maybe it's just my comp, but would it be ok for you to add it? :)
I have a GTX1070 but for some reason I only got +-40fps
The graphics replacement mega mod is a compilation of different authors mods with one of them beeing this one with a differing set of roads and more green water.
Is this all in ne too? The graphic replacement for units, buildings and water?
They just differ in the included water and road terrains.
What do you mean by 'how do u do it when u have such many'?
And it's really not that difficult - I too didn't knew anything about AoE before releasing my mods here, I just had a look at the game files and did a little online research to find some info about existing modding tools (for the slp files). Then it was just a little trial and error. :)
For AoE2 for example there is a folder for each mod you uploaded in your mods folder - by editing this folders content, you edit your mod. You can then select this mod (as an author you have an additional 'author' entry for this mod there) in the ingame mod manager and click update.
I had to stop upgrading my mods some time ago for my steam hardrive only occasionally gets recognized by windows since then and gets lost after random amounts of time.
But I have a new one now and am working on rescuing all needed data.
So I hope to be able to get back to work this weekend or at the beginning of next week.
For it occured with 4.0 and it's well known 4.0 broke ais and they still aren't completelly fixed now, I suppose this to be a bug. - So you should post your bug report in the 4.3 thread so the devs see and solve it. :)
I didn't work on ai scripts for now - but I suppose they do check your state against their own and in case they can't compete with you anymore, they resign so you don't have to 'waste' another few hour(s) to get them while they aren't able to actually do something.
I suppose some players do really like that for they don't do 'pointless' games without a challenge but can start a new one immediatelly.
Or it's just a bug - was it like this before already?
But I'll do so soon. :)
As a side note - if you are subscribed to a mod, it gets reactivated in your mod managers mod list automatically when it's upgraded. :)
same :)
