I'm surprised that this is five years old. It has really a modern design. Too bad that it doesn't support AD.

Do you see yourself creating the Sears or John Hancock towers at 1:1:5 size?

@sbroadbent - Haha, yes, Aqua is a cheap gimmick to make a glass box seem like more than 'just another glass box'.

The episodes that I know that I talk about and present your assets are #32 (most of the University of Illinois, except Bell Tower Park since I couldn't find it when I was recording, although in a later episode I took a look at it as a potential centerpiece for an 8x8 park in my residential area but it didn't quite fit), the Chicago Board of Trade building gets put down in #36, Trump Tower in #41, CNA/Aqua in #43, although I make a correction in an annotation based on your feedback here that it's not a glitch and the Aqua building is indeed supposed to look like it does. It was only after putting in the CN Tower (an iconic landmark from Toronto Canada) that I felt comfortable putting in some of your taller assets.

I was looking at pictures of the real Aqua building and words can't describe how Aesthetically Unpleasing it looks to me ;)

You definitely do good work.

@sbroadbent - I'll have to check yours out! There are so many lets plays out there that I've given up on keeping track of them, except for Keralis'.

Ah, I see. My first thought when I saw it in game was that it might be balconies, albeit missing the railings (which in and of themselves would probably be way more polygons to render than if you doubled the number of polygons to render the bottom side).

Overall I've used a lot of your assets in my Cities Skylines Let's Play, including the Trump Tower, CNA, and Chicago Board of Trade buildings though haven't gotten around to placing the University of Illinois assets yet (due to not wanting to put too many education buildings in the city). Interested to see what you come out with next.

@sbreadbent - That's not a graphical glitch - that's how the building is supposed to look! [www.dailytonic.com]. The reason it doesn't look the same from street level is because the game doesn't render both sides of a polygon. That is, for the balconies to be visible from both the air and street view, I'd have to practically double the amount of polygons in the model, which would be poor for performance, so I elected not to.

Is it just me, or are others getting a graphics issue/glitch when looking at it from above: See this screenshot: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=439163718

I have another screen shot where the building looks fine from below.

Oh, wow! I was just gonna suggest this one, lol. How long until you tackle something like Wrigley Field (hint, hint)?

@Hippopotamus - I believe so! And she's going to strike again if they approve the Wanda Vista tower! [studiogang.net]
