Hi, how can I get this working for the Age of Charlemagne campaign? Can you help at all or provide info on what to change in the files? Thanks

HI,works in GC and Last Roman, but in AoC no... why ?
Olympian  [author] 2 Apr, 2023 @ 1:51am
@coddynamyte: As long as Ancient Empires does not implement its own camera adjustments, it will probably work (but I never tried it).
coddynamyte 2 Apr, 2023 @ 1:45am
Does this work with Ancient Empires?
Chrissant 16 Sep, 2022 @ 6:33pm
Thanks!!!
Olympian  [author] 16 Sep, 2022 @ 3:10am
@Chrissant: Thanks for asking. I'm more than happy to give you the permission. Have fun!
Chrissant 16 Sep, 2022 @ 1:27am
Hi! Would you give your permission in adding this mod to a compilation of universally compatible mods for Attila?
Chuck 7 Feb, 2022 @ 12:15pm
Doesn't work for co-op multiplayer campaigns. Whenever this mod, in particular, is selected for both people, it says that my co-op partner doesn't have the same versions of the game, and vice versa, even though we do..
Olympian  [author] 15 Sep, 2021 @ 10:06pm
@DadStrength: no, it should work without needing to start a new game.
Earl 15 Sep, 2021 @ 9:28pm
This doesn't work for me. I activated the mod and disabled the rest of my mods, but it still won't zoom out. Does it only work when starting a new game?
Olympian  [author] 11 Jun, 2021 @ 10:57am
@MISHOO: unlikely
ra unda vicodee?? 11 Jun, 2021 @ 10:55am
this will increase fps?
Shockwave 24 May, 2021 @ 12:54pm
Well, shit, thanks for the reply.
Olympian  [author] 24 May, 2021 @ 12:14pm
@Shockwave: not to my knowledge I'm afraid.
Shockwave 24 May, 2021 @ 12:08pm
Anyway to get rid of the fog when you zoom out a lot?
PolishHussar95 1 Feb, 2021 @ 5:03pm
@Full Spade
You get turned on by clouds?
Strange guy...
Olympian  [author] 16 Sep, 2020 @ 11:13pm
@agent0592002: Steam downloads it automatically. Then you'll have to activate the mod in the Total War launcher.
agent0592002 16 Sep, 2020 @ 5:26pm
I just subscribed, how do I download?
Full Spade 28 Jan, 2020 @ 2:03am
FUCK THE CLOUDS
Olympian  [author] 16 Feb, 2019 @ 5:59am
@Leper King: Cool, have fun :cool_:
Stephan the Pelted 16 Feb, 2019 @ 3:36am
Indeed its working... Perhaps I just dint notice the difference as I installed the mod right after I got the game..
Olympian  [author] 26 Jan, 2019 @ 11:54pm
@Leper King: I just tested it by starting a new campaign. It seems to work fine. Have you tried disabling all other mods temporarily?
Stephan the Pelted 26 Jan, 2019 @ 10:25pm
Is the mod still working? I cant zoom out like your screenshots did...
Lord 30 Nov, 2018 @ 5:57pm
Yeah the clouds are horrible. Hopefully someone can figure out how to remove those.
Olympian  [author] 17 Aug, 2018 @ 1:17am
@Neowolf: Unfortunately I don't know how to remove the clouds. For Rome 2 there are some mods in the Workshop that do this but it seems there are no such mods for Attila yet :'-(
Neowolf 17 Aug, 2018 @ 12:26am
Thanks for making this mod. You happen to know a way of how to disable the clouds? i think it will greatly improve the FPS on the campaign map.
Olympian  [author] 9 Jul, 2018 @ 8:08am
@yammh: I'm glad to hear it :sonrisa:
yammh 9 Jul, 2018 @ 4:22am
I subscribed Olympian campaign camera - extreme edition. No Crash in this mod.

you described, In known issues Game crashes when starting a new campaign at extreme edition.

Game crash occured in olympian campaign camera not extreme edition..

I don't know what caused it.

I will play extreme edition. Thank you for creating a good mod.:steamhappy:
Olympian  [author] 8 Jul, 2018 @ 7:46am
@yammh: I'm sorry but I don't have the means to test and reproduce the mod with that configuration.
yammh 8 Jul, 2018 @ 5:56am
when i play Rome in QHD(3440x1440), Game crash.
Did you fix it?
SubComandante 3 Jan, 2018 @ 4:43am
cool
Iolaus 19 Dec, 2017 @ 10:21am
yup that's exactly it Olympian, you're able to see the horizon in Rome 2 when max zoomed in, it's really neat
Olympian  [author] 17 Dec, 2017 @ 12:00pm
@Illyrian: I think I understand what you mean. Is it like the second screenshot you see on the Workshop page for the "Extreme Edition" of this mod ( link )?
Iolaus 17 Dec, 2017 @ 11:28am
ouch, that sucks.... you know what I mean though right? the upward angle of the camera when you're zoomed all the way in, it doesn't change in Atttila at all, in Rome 2 soon as you zoom in to the ground all the way, it angles upward so you can see the surrounding areas... I find it extremely immersive, I'm a bit surprised that more people haven't complained about this limitation with Attilas camera, but I guess it's why we got modders like you heh
Olympian  [author] 17 Dec, 2017 @ 12:48am
@Illyrian: As far as I remember there are indeed parameters that could be modded to change the camera angles. But I also remember they were a pain to work with ;)
Iolaus 17 Dec, 2017 @ 12:23am
Hey I got a question about the camera angles, because Rome 2 had a much better angle when you zoom in completely on the map, it would sort of twist upwards as you zoomed in further. Attila however the angle always stays the same, even when you zoom to the max. It makes it useless to zoom in completely as you can't see anything else on the map aside from what you directly zoomed into. Is that something that's hardcoded in the game, or can it be changed?
Olympian  [author] 26 Jul, 2017 @ 11:35am
@+MementoMori+: You could try Splenyi' Better Campaign Camera but I have no experience with that.
MementoMori 26 Jul, 2017 @ 10:30am
Exist this mod for rome 2 ?
AndrewSlug 17 Mar, 2017 @ 7:21pm
Thanks olympian, these TW camera mods are vital.
Olympian  [author] 15 Mar, 2017 @ 11:25am
@|rav|: Thanks! Here are some vanilla hotkeys you might find useful:

- PageDown: press repeatedly to slow down camera movement speed (after about 20 or so presses it's very slow)

- PageUp: presse repeatedly to increase camera movement speed

- K: Toggle all GUI and HUD elements (great for taking screenshots)

- N: "Intelligent zoom". Once activated you can zoom in/out with the mouse wheel and change camera angle while pressing down the middle mouse button

I hope that helps.
|rav| 14 Mar, 2017 @ 5:55pm
Hey, first thx for your work with the camera. I would also like to ask if there is any way to slow down the camera movement speed for some cinematic shots?
Akrotiri 30 Oct, 2016 @ 11:42am
ok ty, cheers
Olympian  [author] 22 Oct, 2016 @ 10:30pm
@Akrotiri: Yes, you can turn it on and off however you like.
Akrotiri 22 Oct, 2016 @ 3:17pm
is this save game compatible?
Thrax 22 Oct, 2016 @ 11:38am
Good work !
Dragosha Striker 2 Oct, 2016 @ 5:34am
@Olympian: thank! little bit annoyed but it'll do. couldn't really play this game without both your camera mods
Olympian  [author] 2 Oct, 2016 @ 5:23am
@Dragosha Striker: Strange, I have experienced this behavior only with the "Extreme Edition" of this mod. You could try the workaround described here .
Dragosha Striker 2 Oct, 2016 @ 4:11am
Strange, this mod make the game crash when try to start the last roman campaign. grand and AoC is working fine though :(
Persitski 24 Jul, 2016 @ 5:47am
@Olympian Thanks
