yeah I haven't played the game in over 6 months and have not updated the mod in forever. If anyone wants to take the files and use em in your own mod it's cool with me.

I won't be maintaining this mod as I've stopped playing the game.

No I won't be releasing some 20-30 sounds seperately however if you download VTF Edit (google it) you can unzip the VTF file in your insurgency/custom folder and then you will have all the files which you can edit and then then pack back into a VTF file (VTF.exe) on the Insurgency root folder (or google its location) allowing you to use any of my files alongside your own custom sounds (or other workshop mods)

Is it possible for you to release these seperately? I love most of the sounds, but miss a few I had to delete for this one.

Open console with ~
Type in "snd_restart"
It should work then.

AdamLallana please accept my apologies. It is a STEAM issue and NOT because of your mod. There are many threads on the Steam forums saying the same thing, you do not need to do anything to your mod

Once you have the .vpk file open in VTFedit then just drage the folder you want onto your desktop and open the mk18 folder to find the sound files.

Since that particular sound file is not mine (I didn't even modify it because it's already very good) then I cannot give you permission or stop you from using it. I got it from the INS Custom Weapon Sound Pack by Skr13 who probably got it from BF2 PR.

Can you give me the link to that Mk18 sound?

Basically whatever sound mod you subscribe to last is the files that will be used. So that way you can have this sound mod but also an MP40 sound instead of an UZI.

I will upload the MP40 and Zastava M76 sound files I made tomorrow.

Then all you'll need to do is subscribe to them (after subscribing to this sound mod first) to have them in this sound mod.

Is there a version without the uzi?

That's just the games ambient noise (which was done very well). It's nothing on my end.

Make sure you have your audio quality set to high? That's the only reason I can think of that would cause you to not hear any ambient noises.

Excuse me but this may be off topic but i heard some background noises in the distance during the security forces video kind off like ambieance (sorry for mispell) can you tell me what mod your using?
