About commerce: it is easy. I would like to make a realistic historical center.
But I will make all of my row-houses residental. I think, 5 level low-dencity would be perfect.

About sidings: yes, this building is supposed to be in a row. But as it is often happen in Russia, there are no any other buildings on the side, it is a very common situation, fe, search on Google maps for "Moscow, astrakhanskiy pereulok, 8". It is ok

Why make these commercial and not residential?

Is the house meant to not have much of a siding, or is it supposed to be next to the other buildings?
