Great map, if you play it on the intended difficulty it could be pretty rough. I lowered all the AI by one because its been a while since I have played AoW3 and I dont care for the pressure of beating Emperor AI difficulty. The map is pretty, it has awesome names attached to places. Its fun to take the characters from the book and bring them into this alternate timeline.

Wonderful map indeed! well done! Concerning a coop vs ai map that Kell is asking, I would like to propose the Age of Misery a strictly coop map that I playtested. Great work as well!

I’m sorry it’s not working Sir Thomas, if there’s a problem I’m pretty sure it’s not on my end or the fault of the mod… I know that AoW 3 has quite a few technical issues and the game won’t work or glitches with different computer configurations for different reasons… hopefully they’ll release some more patches to fix the problems… if you want some help troubleshooting exactly what the issue is, send me a message and I’ll see if we can figure something out.

Why is the map not loading? Is there a way to fix this? I really want to try it. Please, can someone help?

Not loading for me either. Game stops working immediately.

It seems my game has some sort of a problem. Tried with some other workshop maps and couldn't work out. Even though I have all the dlc's and subbed a mod and steam downloads It, I cant see the downloaded package in AoW3 launcher. I even checked inside user content folder; Its empty. Verifyed, restarted Steam... The communuty tab is empty. Its the first time I wanted to try a workshop content for AoW3 so Its a bit shock to me but thank you for your respond but at least I can tell that there is nothing wrong with your mod. Cheers!

Ruzen—I’m not sure exactly what your problem might be, but if this is your first Age of Wonders mod to subscribe and play, let me explain the process: You have to subscribe, launch the game, click on ‘New Scenario’, and from there at the top just below ‘SELECT SCENARIO’ you need to click on ‘community’. Then you should see my map labeled “Aradon – The War for Independence”... then just select it and you should be good to go... if you still don’t see it, then perhaps you don’t have both the expansions?

I subbed but couldn't find the map on senarios or campagins what did I missed?

the alliance freed the land in round 78, the nekrofrostling needed much help 2 survive. tough fights. fine landscape.

if you dont really 've ideas for next projects: try a coop-map: 2 vs hard AI
there are only few mapbuilder trying to make a challenge for 2 friends, but there's great need, because normal maps are much to easy if u try 2 play them coop ;)

Wonderful, beatiful map. I´m on my second playthrough, and will very likely do at least a third. The only downside of this map is that it`s not even bigger. Thanks a lot for creating it.

I’ll be making more maps over time, and in the future if it doesn’t take too much altering I’ll make versions without the expansions—although I recommend the expansions to anyone who can get them! They are both cool additions to AoW, and I bet they’ll go on sale this summer! Thanks again! It makes my day to get this positive feedback!

I can't play this yet, as I don't have the expansions just yet, but looking at this- I wanted to than kyou for what looks like a very thought-out scenario, and a great description (above) to boot. It really helps me when selection workshop content to know what I'm downloading, how it works, and read between-the-lines evidence that the creator has thought things through. It really looks like you've hit all the high notes here. Awesome!
