Hello everyone! Honest review. The premise is fun. Going around looking for on site packages. However! If you are decent at the game, you'll be out in less than ten minutes. I did it in about 15. Not joking. Not to mention you can do it in less than a 2 if you know where to find the early grapple.

It's on a group of scaffolding surrounding the arena center. Take a look up. Now follow it to where there is a pole you have to climb and then jump to a light fixture. Follow the skinny planks across to the end of the path to a box with the hook in it.

i like the confrontation idea, like putting a package right in the middle of a horde, puttiing it in places where it is impossible to get if you don`t kill the zombies that are guarding it, stuff like that

Awesome. I usually run it and night is ending right about when I get there. Sometimes the sun is coming up but that's a good time if you did it before night ended. You might even be under 8 mins.

Really nice map,but it seems like there is no bag where you can get your grapling hook to get out of the arena.

Maybe you would be able to make a map where there is a small city and man roads, you would have to clear each road one by one. Each road would get harder and harder until you reach the end. That would be hard XD

If the last road were to have some of the giant zombies you made in the arena, now that would be a challenge! Amazing Map, Love it! :bbtraccoon:

Thanks for the play Analyth. Sorry if it was too easy for you. It depends on your skill at the game. You are obviously good at it. I can make the maps harder but at what cost to the average player?

I'll make something harder if that is what people really want. We need something truly horrifying for the player. Maybe bottleneck them into hordes and forced confrontations.

Tell me what you wanna see and I can make it happen.

Thanks for all the good vibes guys. He's called the Dream in the editor. They have different names in the editor. The bolter is called Prime and so on. That flaming giant only wanted to function at default. That zombie was actually the very first thing in the Arena when it was completely empty of everything. He is the source of the original inspiration for the Arena. When changing his settings I got wild results. He only functioned right at default settings for some reason. You are right shaddy about him needing more health since I dropped him into some fuel for the start and he lights it causing health depletion so his original HP is dropped considerably when encountering him later on. The zombies will also bite his legs from time to time.

I think, as it was said in the dev forums, that it's a product of too many ai. I toned it down a lot and set timed spawners, and then I toned it down again. I haven't noticed it since so not sure really. You're best bet is kill some ai. Do you happen to have the alpha or beta version because I deleted those and left this.

Thanks for playing. The crates prob do need a respawn but I did hide some extras here and there just in case. Hey feel lucky. I was going to start people at lvl 7 Survivor.

Very Challenging! Very Fun! Only when you play without your skills, do you realize how much you actually rely on them!!! But i do think that the Relief Crates should be more hidden/scattered and should respawn over time. I accidentally spent my lvl 12 skill point on something other than the grapple hook and ended up spending another 10-15 min looking for the LAST crate stash! XD
Other than that, very very cool! Well done!
Also, you asked us to post our best times on here, is it possible to make a timer, in-game? That'd be cool.

Yeah
My map is named hell_training
But i though to training the player
by killing
Volatiles with a machete.
I liked to do this in the example

Thank you cr1m3 for the compliment. Yeah I was actually bummed I saw the same name on two maps already posted here. :S I've been working on this since I found the model when the editor came out. If people like this I'll keep mapping other wise this is it.

You know what would be good would be something like this that trains the player. i.e. obstacle courses and the like.
