Thank you
Is there any way that you could build a second floor childrens' room over the greenhouse? I have expanded adoptions.... and my house carl and steward will not sleep in the same area as children....
I did like you told me, and it's working, i'm very happy to have access finally to the DLC and be able to change it according to my taste.
Thanks a lot for your help.
With all my best wishes
1. go to your Skyrim Directory <\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim>
2. open your skyrimeditor.ini file
3. search for sResourceArchiveList2
4. at the end of that line put , DawnGuard.bsa, HearthFires.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa
5. make sure it looks like this : SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa, Hearthfires.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa
<PS> you need to add bAllowMultipleMasterFiles=1 to the General Section..to allow more then one masterfile
<PSS>you need to add bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1 to the General Section..to load up more then one masterfile
6. save the ini
7. start up your Creation Kit and select Dawnguard.esm or HearthFires.esm or Dragonborn.esm only and load
8.then patiently wait for it to load..and it should all work now
This is the message that appears on my screen:
assert
Files .. \ TES Shared \ misc \ BGSLocalizedString.cpp
Line: 2871
LOCALIZATION: Error opening or reading strings file.
Restart Abort Ignore
whatever is my choice Creation Kit stops!
CheeZ WhiZ, thanks for the picture. What it is showing is that the wrong walls have 'enabled'. If everyone had this same issue then I could say yes it is the mod. But only a handful of people are having it and I cannot track down a reason as to why. The only thing that makes any sense is that the wrong walls are being built, but if users are absolutely sure they built the correct walls then that isn't the issue.
Right now I am finishing off my Old Hroldan Town mod that has been under development for a long time. Once that is done I can finally re-look at these mods. I have an idea that may or may not help with this issue and that is I will restore the walls up around the rooms, so the mod actually doesn't touch them in anyway. Then we can go from there.
In the meantime try the mod on a different save game and see if the walls behave correctly.
Screenshot of the wall problem Nanaki expressed. Only other hearthfire mod i have installed is "Hearthfire Extended" which does nothing to any of the rooms. Also downloaded from Nexus, not steam.
If the mod isn't there in your Data Files, then it hasn't downloaded. Unsubscribe and then resubscribe and see if it downloads.
If it won't download then we can go from there to download and install it.
Fantastic work!
How dare you tell me that I am not a 'true modder'. How rude! Deleted your comment and blocked you.
I didn't touch the exterior at all, or anything outside of the room that is altered. I was very careful to ensure I didn't so that the mod would be compatible with any mod that doesn't touch the north wing.
