There's another nightlight mod too that has an option to increase the fuel capacity, which would be a great option here as well.

I also really wish this had a config for the sanity drain. It seems to be in the entire light radius, which means if I use them to light up my base, I lose sanity the entire time I'm in it, and then also big chunks to fuel them.

Nice mod! Have looked for a while for one exactly like this, but just one thing. For some reason, this mod isn't fully compatible with the Uncompromising mod, which only lets it use sanity to fuel itself. The light radius is bigger, but the fuel consumption seems the same, and it doesn't turn off at day.

I don't know why, but it always crashed in my own room(not a sever), the error message shows something like "*** when get fuel" or something. (PS: I'm not good at English, hope that won't bring you trouble.)

@zmz well as a ghost you can haunt nearly all objects in the world by clicking it and sometimes it has a certian effect on an object a tree can catch fire for example and normally there is a 25% chance that a nightlight will lose all its fuel when haunted as a ghost

@Rippertear as far as i know caves are not introduced in DST yet and if you use the mod "Extended Map Generation" then caves have the same day/night cycle then any other biome.
