For some reason lately, this asset turns yellow. Can vary from the angle and especially at a distance. Strange it was appearing fine, unless a recent installed mod or DLC is having an affect. :(

I still love this asset, but the LOD is broken.. turns it yellow :/

You can add blinking lights manually using more beautifaction and prop snapping mods but from certain distance the whole structure turns yellow, perhaps LOD problem (not sure what does that).

Hey @Timych unless you have it by now recommend the prop snapping mod and the More Beautification mod to add your own choice of light to radio mast. This way each person can have their own choice wchich light to use should they wish one considering current large file size.

As to give you a break of all the people bitching about stuff, I think this is great. A very nice addition to the hills and outskirts of my cities! A few arials near the top of the tower and a bit more detail wouldn't hurt though. You should definitely continue improving this, because it's a great idea.

What's the diff.....power transmission lines all over the landscape....or this mast all over the landscape?

@Douglas ︻╦╤---- - The radio mast does not create noise; I set the noise value and noise radius parameters to 0 in the asset editor. Alas, all buildings in the power plant category cause unhappiness to those living right next to it. That's not something that can be changed (except maybe by editing the actual code, but I am not versed in C#).

This is horrible. It created noise?!? Why? Radios don't create noise, only if u turn the radio on. I see my houses with bad sign when you build this, because of noise. I didn't realize having radio stations was a bad thing.

Erm this is good but its just a metal mast it actually doesnt have any aerials on it. Could you add a tube to the top for TV and Yagi beams that would be amazing. thanks

no its perfect where it is! if anything people should stop making everything parks, i have a list of like 50 "parks".

And i love stuff like this, it really helps make your city look more authentic! awesome work!

@all12jus - Unfortunately, parks require road access, which is something I wanted to avoid with this prop. Also, in real life, cell towers / communications masts typically depreciate land value (in my experience, citizens vote against having them put in their neighborhoods). Because this is merely a mast and not a station, it makes sense that it does not bring happiness with it.

This should be a park, since radio stations usually increase happyness and have a radius of area that is affected.

cool thank you for making this . now I can put satellite dishes cellphone receptors Exedra from the assets on this and make my city look more realistic
