Very interesting map. Had a lot of fun shiting my pants. The escape room thing should have been a little bit shorter though.

Very cool, Very Different.

Rating: 7/10
Highlights: Scary triggers. Ambient / Overall light work. Cool room. Books were fun to collect.
Suggestions: Hmmm. More ??? Bit short.

Ok. I'll try to describe this process step-by-step.

1. Set movie Type at Cutscene
2. RMB under first horizontal line and select Add camera
3. Then RMB after Camera in Level Track and select Add Keys
4. You must add Name of camera in his "key"
5. Set to Animate mode (little padlock should change color to green)
6. Now select camera LMB on Camera01 (it'll let you edit all the keys (position, target, roll and fov).
7. Move camera to the desired position in editor view
8. Get back to the Movie window and select Camera01 again now press Alt+K to store camera position. It's important do to make sure Camera01 is selected while pressing Alt-K. If left Alt isn't working try with right one.
9. Move time cursor do the desire position and get back to step "6"

Remember to scale Camera Key in Level Track group to cover all movie timeline.

Open TeeVee map and see how it was made :)

hey man, awesome map, one of my favourites. One question tho. I've done some animation in my map (e.g animating a thing to move etc) but im curious as to how you managed to animate the camera, ive been trying to get that working for a while now but i can't figure out how.

there is no coop in custom maps??

Are they going to add the ability to play multi player custom maps?

not bad. heres some suggestions to improve:
1) lessen the amount of books by at least half (its tedious and the scares are expected after the first one)

2) shorten the "escape the room" (same reason i found it much too long)

3) change the colours on the t.v (might not seem like much but i think just a pale white static will do much more for the mood)

4) change the typeface on the tv's (same as before, too add mood. check the horror fonts on dafont.com you might find something there)

a bug i noticed was i was able to jump out of the window in the bedroom

Definitely very well done. Probably one of the only maps so far that I actually liked.

Angrydroid is a bit butt hurt eh? I wouldnt listen to him, your map is a testamet to your hard work Quasi. Very well thought through and had great elements of horror. First, puzzles, the shit that keeps you focused when there doesnt seem to be a goal in sight (apart from GETTING THE FUCK OUT). Second, jump scares, i'm sorry but they do work. Try not watching before buying ya? Third, atmosphere, Quasi nails it. Apart from Delsusion, haven't been anything quite like this created for Dying Light.

The gaming world suffers when people like droid has nothing to offer but a jealous comment. If you thought it was boring, please share how to improve it oh god of horror.

I get your trying to make some mods for us all to play but, this was soooo boring bro. nice though. maybe add something to do next time.

I turned off hud, flashlight and other things (for purpose) to make player more frightened and helpless. I'll take a look at this book.

It was the book missing to the far bottom left. It may have been due to another issue i had in which my HUD disappeared. Even the pause menu HUD was gone, with the exception of the game pausing and blur effect. I had to tab out of the game to quit the custom game. More than likely a glitch with the engine rather than the map.

Very immersive map. Kind of had a Cry of Fear vibe to it. The "Put the books back" mechanic was extremely drawn out though. There was like 20 books to find and the jumpscares got monotonous real quick. I also couldnt complete the map because the game wouldnt let me put the final book back. I'd look into that. Other than that, very well done.

OMG this map is great!
Really love it.
It scared me each time the zombie appear too close.
