A warning to those downloading this, the doors are broken. When closing them they are open and when open the door hovers way above the door meaning the model is 1 door too high in both cases. I believe the maker of this mod has retired from modding, just for anyone who wants this fixed. Thank you for creating this Eikester, you've made quite the contribution to the modding community I hope you enjoy your time away from everything.

when placed its in closed mode but it looks open.. clicking button to open makes door go way above frame.. never looks closed

Dont know if its just me but after not playing for a while it seems this mod isnt working anymore.
getting Object reference not set to an instance of an object. error. even when this is the only mod in a new save

I set a control panel to open one of these doors but for some reason it doesn't work. I've done all the usual checks for this kind of problem (e.g. ensuring there is power, trying different controls on the switch, remapping keys, etc.) but nothing seems to work. Do you have any advice?

Still works fine. Opens and closes fine. In case some people dont realise you need to make your own button to open the door or go through a control panel to access it and open and close it.

First off, Love this mod.
Couple additions I'd like to see:
1. An opening that's an odd number of blocks wide (My hangar design has a connector in the floor and back wall in middle) 11x7x1 or 13x7x1 for example.

2. A block that doesn't have the lower plate, so I can use two end to end and make a double sized opening (I have a lot of large designs :-p)

I just hope this mod isn't dead.

Great mod though I would love to see 2 versions, one with the door opening up and one with the door receding down (gives base building more variey)

when i place it my sim speed goes from 1 to 0.03but my fps stays at 120

I think there is a small bug with it. When you hit closed door moving 10 m/s or more you bounce off it like crazy. It feels like it is a trampoline. BTW your mods are awesome. Keep up good work !

I am still having issues with the door, Had to remove it from my station because it was causing a serious collision between myself my ships and the door. For weeks I have been working on a large asteroid with the inside ring hollowed out for my fighter bay. I placed the blast door at my entrance and began working around it in survival mode. I died numerous times by being propelled at an instant max velocity and slammed int the walls of the asteroid. Switched to Creative mode and had same issue. As I worked away from the door the problem went away, Then I went to fly a ship through the open door and slammed into an invisable barrier. Removed the door Which I hated doing because I love this door, and the bugs disappeared.

Update: fixed collision Model, replaced textures with vanilla textures to greatly reduce filesize

hi.
the last major update broke the mod. the door is logically open when optically closed and otherwise.
so i have to close the door to go through it and open it to close the way....

can you pls. fix this ?

@dRuPpI actually this thing has all the textures needed for pbr (because that was introduced with the dx11 update), if you have purple textures thats because keen messed up the loading for mod textures. however i would like to give this door a visual upgrade at some point

Would it be possible to have a new 14x9x1 blast door added to go along with this one in the mod someday? I used this one for my base door and also to scale my vehicle builds against, but now my newly rebuilt Pelican dropship that is to scale based on the wiki values can't fit the 10 block wide opening. :(
