~~ Sinserly "Dream Weaver" :D
I'll try it out with IMAX-style films online and see if it makes any difference.
I can see that the wide angle projector could use some tweaks to its projectedtexture attributes to improve visibility at the far ends of the theater. I'll boost it a bit.
The textures you see on the floor and lower level is due to a weird back projection that happens with these entities in anarchy arcade. at first i thought it was something i borked when modding the prop but it appears to happen with the stock projector too. Adjusting the NearZ to exclude nearby surfaces seems to have no effect. I'll keep poking it.
The wide angle projector was kind of a kludge on my part when i wasn't able to make a stable dome screen for the map. I'm surprised it worked as well as it does. I still notice stuttering when standing in the fov of the projector. It sucks, but i don't think i can do anything about it from my end.
post-update, somebody must have done some serious redecorating. I also noticed the wide-screen projector* was added though.
*idk who made this projector model model, but thanks. I don't recall it being there pre-update, but this makes it a lot better. however....
I thought this might also come to their attention: the projector does function as intended, except the projected screen may be too wide for the actual scale of the theater, because it is also penetrating through walls, stairs, floors, etc. this might be a scaling or FOV issue. I also can't see the screen from the far ends of the theater. :/
