I thought about that, but as some people mentioned, those animations are a bit outdated and might cause issues when playing online. I might try to use them on some future mod though if they'll work all right.
I'm going to double check if there are any issues with worldmodel.
Moving attachments points is possible, but you've got to decompile weapon model for that, and that means all ads animations get corrupted. This isn't an issue with pistols, as there are no optics for pistols, there is only one ads animation that needs to be redone.
However, for rifles you would have to redo animations for every optics, and zeroing in and adjusting optics (especially those with magnification) takes a huge amount of time because you have to test every change ingame.
So it's not really worth it unless you are making weapon replacer.
If the attachments weren't shared it would be easy as one could easily just move the laser/flashlight for specific weapon, but as it is now, moving the attachment model would move it for all other weapons that use it.
