@mudplayerx: Could you be more specific about what's not working? It's working fine for me.
mudplayerx 28 Jun, 2023 @ 9:06am
Does not work as of this writing.

can you add an option to tweak the sanity gain for willow being near a fire? Also what's the difference between light, medium, and dark night?

UPDATE:
- Fixed a crash when using certain other mods, like Tropical Experience.
- Made the mod more automatically adaptable to changes to the game, whether through updates or mods.

Simply hover your mouse over the mod you want to configure, and click the "Configure mod"-button that appears in the middle of the screen.

UPDATE:
- Should now be compatible with the Hamlet DLC

PLEASE REPORT BUGS! I don't have time to play at the moment, since I'm doing my master's degree, but I try to keep my mods updated. They will all be updated for Hamlet within the next few days, but I only have very little time to test them.

Thank you so much! and again keep up the good work!

@|Teresa-Cosmo|: I just tested, and when I had set light, medium, dark and rain/wet to 0%, I did not get any sanity loss while I was in the cave. Only when I was close to enemies, which is what the aura settings are for.

Sane travels ;)

I am not sure. I end up giving up. It was kinda complicadet. And since there's too much mod in my DT . It took at least 5 minutes to load a save so... It was kinda annoying so that's why I got bored.
But I can try again If you want.
Ultroman the Tacoman  [author] 27 Aug, 2018 @ 9:15am
@|Teresa-Cosmo|: Just to be clear, did it end up working for you?

Sincerely, Ultroman the Tacoman

Just went through the game code, to ensure that this mod still works as intended.

Your English is perfect :) Rain, in fact the wetness of your character, has a huge sanity loss effect. You can turn that down as well in the mod. I have looked at the code, and being in a cave is simply the equivalent of it being not day. The amount of light around you determines whether you fit into the Light, Medium or Dark Night sanity loss category.

I have disabled day/night/dusk/day tick (one by one). It didn't work. It was raining but I had an unbrealla and a tree was preventing me from getting wet. But I am not sure If I was getting sanity drops becouse of rain or the cave itself.(Sorry for shity English)

@Teresa-Cosmo: Sanity Tuner is compatible with RoG. I'm not sure if there is indeed a separate setting in the game for cave sanity drain. I think it just shares the existing ones e.g. Dark and maybe Night or Dusk for lighter areas. In that case, you can try adjusting those. Remember, if you'd like another level of sanity loss when you're not in a cave, you can just log out, change the mod settings, and drop right back in the game.

Please let me know if it doesn't work. Then I'll take a look.

Hey,is this compatible with RoG? If so does this mod has a option to disable sanity drop in caves?

Don't discount this mod as an "easy button". It can make the game much harder, as well. You should definitely play the game for what it is, the first many times. But when you start homing in on something you think is annoying, like the CRAZY high wet-item-sanity-loss, you can tweak it with this mod. If you find the vanilla game too easy after a while, you can give yourself an added challenge, by adding a slight sanity drain during the day, in addition to the darkness sanity drain already present in vanilla. Or make you lose more sanity, when close to the monsters.

Since the settings can be both positive and negative, there are so many possibilities with this mod!

Enjoy!

Well, truly useful. But the the decreasing Sanity in certain conditions is just an interesting part of this game. So…… Although i'm a new player of Don't Starve, i think it will be better to just get useed to the oringinal setting. With respect.

Completely! Who's afraid of dusk anyway? Night is the scary part!
Chipper875 26 Mar, 2016 @ 3:52pm
I don't even really play DS anymore, but im going to get this mod anyway. The current sanity drop from dusk is absurd! Thanks!

Update!
Added more options for "Day Tick" closer to 0. I found that 0.1 increase was a bit much for me, so now you can set it to 0.01-0.10 and 0.15, and the same for negative values.

I'm not sure, but Chester's aura is most likely under the "umbrella" of one of the existing settings. There must be a mod out there for Chester, where you can change his aura-effect. Whatever aura he has, as long as it has an effect on players, this mod will have an effect on it. This mod directly influences ANY aura-effect on players, simply grouping them together in gains and losses, and alters each of them according to the settings.
