Ah, this is so epic. I love that it replaces once the Marines have taken over. It's a very nice touch. :headcrab:

i guess so :) my problem with replacing the HECU voices to the originals is the BM steam files aren't as extenisve as the mod version files. i can see where i need to place the voice files there, but not on the steam version, if i knew how to do it i'd release it on the workshop myself but alas lol

Well it was (I guess) pure luck that the mod worked without me needing to change any of the names of the sound files

ok right, well i think i've placed the voice files where i need, i'm yet to still test it. luckily the military announcer works :) for some reason its one of my favourite memories from HL1. i'll just have to tinker about until my HECU sound like inhuman robots again haha thankyou for your replies :gman:

Yes but here are the requirements.
1. (For example) the. wav files have to be the same name as the original .wav files
2. What happened is that I tried to upload a weapon mod but I didn't because the weapon that I was going to upload had missing files, so without those needed files, it couldn't work

do you know if i can use a black mesa source mod addon with the steam release version?specifically the original hecu voice chatter mod.

Well this mod replaces all vox files except for when it say apache (or what ever the call the helicopter)

thank you so much! BM is immense, they jjust changed too many sound files to weaker sounding ones :(
