does not work right now

This has been reuploaded and should work now. If the suit chargers are silent, type "snd_restart" in the console.

If desired, I could upload this (or any of my other workshop mods) to gamebanana.com .

I'm yet still waiting for the Workshop publishing tool to get fixed. I can't reupload this mod until that happens.

fixed?

I need to reupload this mod to get it to work again. Once the publishing tool gets fixed in a Black Mesa patch from the game's creators, I'll be able to fix this mod.

You just need to turn your game off and back on. Like with any sound mod you get on the workshop for Black Mesa (and maybe for every other Source game), the game has to first make a cache file for the sounds contained within the mod before the mod can work.

Somehow your sounds don't work for me.. :/ HEV chargers are completely silent now.

Thanks

I understand you completely, TheAwesomeGuy. I've done a great many things already regarding some of the more iconic sounds (as well as being consistent with the Source environment of Half-Life 2) originally for a mod I made for myself for the free version of Black Mesa a while ago. It bugs me that not only are some of the more recognizable audio bits from Half-Life 1 (some of which are also used in HL2) not represented in Black Mesa, but a lot of the sounds from Black Mesa (like Gordon's pain sounds) are not consistent with what one hears in Half-Life 2. There are some things I can't yet upload to the workshop until the developers make all the sound scripts modifiable, but there *are* still a few other, smaller things that I can until that point.

Can you add in other sounds like health pack sounds? Also the elevator beep sound? And add other sounds that were in both half life source and 2 as best as possible? I do like me some consistency. (I said source because source uses sounds from half life 2)

This is nice but I actually like the Black mesa suit charger sounds better.
