The batteries are just a backup once your Uranium reaches 0. (They just filled empty space) You could easily replace them by anything, but i guess, even with 2 jumpdrives, the 2 large reactors should be way enough as power source. Haven't got the MW amount of 1 in mind, but i had built ships with more then one jumpdrive before, using only 1 large reactor.

yeah I'll get on that one of these days. I haven't build my own ship since I discovered blueprints...and last time I made one there weren't batteries. How useful are these batteries on the ship? Can I replace them with some amount of small or large reactors to be useful? I threw 2 jump drives on this and plan to add the hydrogen tank and a few stopping thrusters. I haven't done anything to the power source yet...what do you think I should do to accomidate for extra power usage?

In fact, there wasn't hydrogen back when this was built, don't know why i did not connect the cryos, but you are right, should not be much of a deal for you to pipe em up.

my favorite ship on workshoP! thank you for not using hydrogen lol. Really cool hanger and the doors make whole ship air tight and easily defended. Excelletn work!!

one more thing: the cryo bay does not work??? i die of oxygen deprivation cuz there's no oxy tank
