I am sorry for not providing much needed updates to this mod. I am dealing with work and many irl issues that take me away from modding, or exhaust me so much that I can't focus on it.
There will be updates, but I can't give any form of estimate on them.

question, whenever i place the phase cannon, it crashes my game. any idea why? oh and also, none of the beams work either. know why?

Will you add updated screenshots? Even if you are updating the mod, having just one screenshot (especially from old SE) give the impression that you have not updated in a long time.

its just that when i placed down the launcher. there were supposed conveyor points on all sides of the rear of it. yet none connected to allow me to load it with ammo.

Sorry for the late reply. Haven't opened steam in ages. It depends on the model, tbh. Typically, my conveyors are black and yellow, highly visible on the model itself. If you see one somewhere on it, good. If not, then that one's probably the older, creative only models.

Xlency, please calm down. It's just a mod, problems come up.

Due to personal obligations, I haven't had as much time as I have wanted to work on any of my mods. As you did bring up the fact that I don't have any indication as to what works and what doesn't, I have added a disclaimer. If you find a weapon that doesn't work, feel free to let me know, but please do not berate me on my comments section.

Oh really? Then can you mind explaining why the torpedo launcher WON'T FIRE? Also, maybe if you'd update your description stating what is broken and what isn't, you'd have less of these problems. Also bro, please learn to spell.

XLency, you know, you should actually test the mod before stating facts. I just ran a test and your statement of there being 'NO working weapons' is false. Some have been disabled, likely due to the recent updates, but some, like the torpedo launchers and the Phaser Lance, are still active.

Check the facts before posting please.

The mod is broken, PERIOD. There's no working weapons. Not even in creative mode.

Liamcarr, I am aware of this issue, and it's not just you. As per my earlier statements, this mod was originally meant to be used in creative, and only recently received an update for a survival-ready weapon, recently being the last update.

Unfortunately, my work schedule and other projects take up most of my time, so updates are slow coming. Sorry for the inconvenience.

hello there. iv love your star trek mods. the ship enagry weapons dont work i dont know if its me of the mod. the turrets work fine but the phaser, plasma,disruptor beam/cannons dont work. other wise im enjoying the other startrek mod you have. keep up the good work

that would explain why so many of the weapons are useless in survival. The ammo parts are there. The weapons themselves have inventory banks. Those inventory spaces, however, make like half the doors in any given vault in any given Fallout game and are thusly, "inaccessible"

Only the Defiant Phasers have open ports. If you look at my models, I make the ports so it looks like it is suppose to connect to something. The older, small-ship phaser models, however, lack these ports, as they were my original test ones to see if I could even add models to the game, and make them work.

They, sadly, never got updated. :(

I think I am having the swame problem as modelcitizen. I hooked up a conveyor network to some small phasers im deploying on my runabout and the conveyor pipes that go from the closest conveyor hub point to the weapons themselves are red, indicating a disconnect, where as all other points on my conveyor grid are green.

Would seem that all small block versions of the weapons are muzzle loaders. Only there is no inventory access on the muzzle.

There's a series of ports on the back of the weapon. They all connect to the standard small convayor tubes. You can also open them by hand, last I checked.

I havent tried using that phaser yet but when I build my next attack fighter I'll try and use those to see if i can figure it out for you. But by all means keep trying on your end. My next fighter build is still a ways out as I complete the fighter construction bays on my ship yard.

Sorry, Citizen, I didn't see your message until now.

I don't think I made it buildable in the mod, but it would be called a 'Small Defiant Pulse Phaser Coil'. If it is buildable, then it should be fairly cheap. If not, you'll need to spawn it in with Space Master, or use creative.

Everything works in creative. :P

I love this mod. The only issue it seems to have is with the phaser lance. When it hits a grid it freezes my game at the point just before impact.

Im using an I7 2.8Ghz Octo core and 16gb of DDR4 and 4GB of GDDR 5 on an nVidia 1050 GPU

Reezer: I am starting work on making the mod function now. It has been too long since I worked on it.

NTSF: You should consider this; I am the only one working on the mod, which no one really wants to help on, and what you are suggesting is beyond my ability. Not only that, but consider how the weapons work. They function the same way standard weapons work, and those have no way to know how much damage they've dealt. Also, something like that sounds hideously overpowered, and is also not canon at all. Sorry dude.

You Could Contact People Like Seff, Alysius Wee, and Razortron. I'm sure they Would be Glad to help. Heck, add some Code So That Phasers dont just rip through, But once they have dealt enough damage, as in a little score counter, once it reaches max an Explosion Triggers, and then the coutner is reset.

I dont know if this already known but the non turret phaser weapons except the Spinal Phaser Lance are not working, not in Survival nor in Creative both small and large. turrets and Torpedos are working fine tho

firstofficerd: you could replace the explosion effect on impact of the phaser fire with just a "coloured flash" which is what phasers do happen to do on impact with a hull/shield without causing an explosion. Just disappearing the blocks on impact does make the mod seem incomplete.

There isn't a Phaser Cannon that does that. That explosion is what happens when a ship detonates from loss of Hull or Anti-Matter Integrity.

Telling me to make stuff work doesn't help me. What is wrong? What isn't working? The more I know, the more I can work. Same with the textures. What's wrong with them? If you're complaining that they are mostly grey boxes that MIGHT change color, then that's normal cuz that's how I made them, as this was my FIRST MOD.

Please be clear here.
