I loaded a city and placed a train depot, some tracks and another depot but the skin is still the same.

Hello,
Is it possible to make a double one ? I mean to make 16 cars as reality as 2 versions :
1) Engine A + 14 cars + Engine B
2) Engine A + 6 cars + Engine B + Engine A + 6 cars + Engine B
Sorry, I am not designer and programmer too.

Super TGV et merci, il est très bien fait. A quand la version avec 4 wagons et les 2 motrices ainsi qu'une version avec 8 wagons plus ses 2 motrices ?

@oppiescc, please add an engine at the back. I'm sure that the Asset Editor will let you add it now. Also, please add nighttime textures.

Works fine, and look nice (watching it at real speed with rail speed limit removed it's awesome) Thank a lot. (and the TGV duplex too) but at night it's sad they are so dark, could you do some texture for night tme please with more lights ? thx anyway.

ce tgv est magnifique , il rend super bien ( pour les nostagiques des années 80 ) j'aurai bien aimé changer la couleur pour le bleu-gris atlantique mais je n'y arrive pas ! peut-on m'aider ? ou cela est impossible ? plus qu'as faire un AGC ou une Sybic ^^

Could you (maybe) make a steam engine? I have only seen one in the whole workshop, so that would be awesome! If you have no idea on what to choose: LNER Class A3 Flying Scotsman or the Mallard. Thanks!

Dear Oppiescc, Amazing job ! I would love to make a Thalys version of your TGV (as I am making a belgian city) The model is exactly the same, only the texture is different (actually, as a previous employee of Thalys, I can tell you that if you scratch the paint of the Thalys, you can see the TGV color under it). I could make the texture and give it to you, but for that I would need the texture map

I was having an issue with my industry not getting any goods and I found out it was because the outside cargo trains weren't coming in to my cargo terminals. Once I disabled this mod, I immediately had train tracks full of incoming cargo trains. Once they all came in, everything went back to normal. I like the design, but it needs fixing.

@oppiescc this TGV is the first one for the LGV South East. Do you want a collaboration with us ? we made the TGV Atlantique , TER Bombardier AGC , BB 26000 intercité , fret , carmillon , just look at our workshop ! ;)

Do you have it uploaded at the moment? I see an asset named 'TGV_trailer' with no Steam tag in Content Manager using my fixed Improved Assets Panel. When I click 'View in Workshop' button Steam redirects me to this page.

First off, fantastic job on the model. It looks incredible. Is there any way to specify what kind of train you want running on a line? Maybe this could be accomplished by adding another train line tool for this model in addition the the original vanilla one, or maybe you can choose what type you want to use while editing an already existing line. I know next to nothing about the modding process, so I have no idea how possible this would be. Either way, great job on this. looks great!

@Nox Oculis You can achieve this with the help of my mod and IPT :

- Disable "Train Engine" in VehicleRemover.xml, all your outside trains will be TGVs (and/or any other custom train)
- Make sure to reload your save
- With Transport view open, select your train line
- Select a depot then Select type : Passenger Train
- Add as many vehicles as you like to the line. They will be of the type Passenger Train.
- Repeat the 2 steps above for all your lines.

the TGV does replace the trains from the outside...and my path !
that is not the original process , this one replace all passenger train.

Finally, this mod does not work so..

It would be cool if you could do an RABe 511-104 (It's a Double decker Swiss train search on Google for images of it) this owuld be AWESOME for peoples who are located in Switzerland and play that game ;)

i think the stuck at edge of the map glitch is because the TGV's are slightly longer than the platforms and if you look closely you will see that the front wheels are in front of the points where it has to switch to the other track

@oppiescc I have done some more testing and confirm I get problems with the train getting stuck at map edges on another custom map and also one of the built in maps. I wondered if another reskin would give the same problems. I tried this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=447629264 and that worked OK not causing any problems. So maybe oppiescc that could be a place to try and pinpoint any issues?

it would also preferable that the TGV is not a replacement for the internal line of the city, this is a long-distance train outside the map

I have the same problem at the output of the map traffic is blocked

I tried again with some previous saves from the same city and immediately had the problem when the mod was enabled :( I know there are issues with some maps but it may be a map/mod combination that triggers it. I will test it when I play other maps to see if the same problem arises.

I can confirm that i have had the same problem as @barrygreygreybeard It never happened before and it was so bad that it crippled my enetire industry since no goods were coming in. I had to reload a previous save and unsub, will try it again, perhaps it was just a fluke.

It's definitely this mod but I haven't tried it on any other maps nor any other reskins of trains. So it could be a unfortunate combination of mod and map. Now having said that there are threads from people who complain that trains do get stuck at the edges of some maps in some instances. CO are now aware of the issue and will investigate. As you say something to keep an eye on.
BTW it was good to see a familiar name on here from the last SimCity, I used a lot of your bus mods etc. great stuff, thanks :)

@barrygreybeard - when I was first testing the mod I had some trouble where the train would get stuck at the station if it was too long - what you're experiencing might be a similar problem? It might also be a fluke occurance but I'll keep an eye on my trains to see whether my mod has anything to do with it.

I wonder if anyone else has experienced this problem with this mod, with it enabled it seems that a passenger train gets stuck at the edge of my map, stopping almost all train traffic from outside. I had a queue of 30+ trains trying to leave my city. I disabled this mod and the queue dissipated, if the mod remained active the queue got longer and longer. It may be peculiar to the map I am using (custom) or maybe all reskins of trains?

If you use IPT mod you can select which skin to use on which line :D
