(and ican now make the perfect weapon, auto guided torpedo that take its gps target from a drone with this script, that ill send to the ennemies)
@Aschram as the description explains this script:
- Gets position from first found of the following (in order): remote control, cockpit
there is no way to get players position from in-game script (maybe with sensor, but not otherwise)
I get a huge red error message now when I try to "check script" or run it. Any chance for an update soon? Many thanks! Cheers!
I thought it was just something I was doing wrong but I get the same result when piloting your GPS Recording Ship blueprint.
Any ideas as to why this may be happening?
I'm fan of your creation, I already use your programmable LCD and it's really fonctionable
Now I wanted to use te GPS Recorder tools, but when I compile the script I received the following error:
"caught exception during execution of script:object reference not set to an instance of an object"
"assembly not found. Please compile script"
Can you help me or someone else
sorry for my english
Thanks
+There is no way to add waypoints to your GPS simpler than this that I know of.
-I have no idea how tho make scripts :(
Another question though. Where did you get that HUD skin from, that is shown in the video
Its hard to figure out how to do it so it is easy to use and as you probably already know I won't release things that are not easily usable :)
Getting coords from a distance like Bubbaton says would actually be really great! I've seen it, so it is possible with ingame scripts to get coords using a camera from 2 different positions (check this out: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=410862647 ). Such functionality would be really useful to use in conjuction with the cruise missle script. Or perhaps a good idea for a new script! ;)
