I try to load this and other ships of yours and the landing gear bugs out and the thing flies all over the place until I can manage to get inside and retract it

@GEC: Ah, I see.

Well, kinda my bad habit is, when i finished with creating a ship, I tend to just forget them and crash em. so rarely any changes and/or improvement haha.

Another important thing is that doesnt matter if the ship looks finished you have to give it a couple of days and then come back and you will realice that you can add a lot more details and even change some stuff that you thought initially that look great but now you are not too sure about it. Thats why most of this ships used to take almost a week to build.

Hopefully this week will arrive my new graphic card and i will be able to work in some new designs again :)

@ [AHNN] Kiryuuin Satsuki : Yeah! hopefuly with the new netcode that will change for good!.

Talking about the design method its a little bit hard but i can tell you that first you have to have at least one idea that you want to make the main feature of your ship and work arround that idea. That will open a lot of new challenges that will make more certainly that initial idea just a tiny part of the final project.
In the case of Radanto the initial idea that i wanted to achieve was those side thrusters, then when i started working on that i came up with the idea of a double nose with the weapons inside them and that was the way how i started to give this ship his shape.

Hahaha, yeah I know. but you know, wishing and hoping wont hurt you :P Also, I hope the dev would do something about it. Well, at least like, you know... It would be more fun to play in a server with quite a lot of people. You know like Minecraft where there are lots of people with their own faction, get into a war and claiming an area. But yeah, I think im hoping too much lol.

Oh and btw, keep up the good work, GEC. really love all your design, especially all your exploration ships type. Do you have like, tips on designing them? Because All I can do is a box shaped ship hahaha.

@ [AHNN] Kiryuuin Satsuki : that would be great! the only issue is that a single one of this ships lags pretty hard your game. i Couldn't imagine what, let say 10 of them , would do to your game :P

Sorry guys for not uploading new content. I've been pretty busy and i got a little bit uninspired. I wish this ship had a better reception in terms of rates and favorites but well isn't that bad.

Must be the strange ways that creatives self esteem works, you tend to compare all that you do with what was the most successful of them all. Like Acsano that had an overwhelming reaction and seted the expectations from me quite high.

I've been working in a ship that i had to put it in stand by because it uses merge blocks and i encontered a bug that makes that every time you use them you lose random groups on your ship so that keep me back to finish that design.

It does look beautiful but pirates do not care about the level of detail. In a fight this ship is worthless and that's the problem I have with these type of ships (even though I know the aim is something completely different).

You can work on it in DX9 mode. Till uncleSte updates his stuff most of my stuff is going to look bad in DX11.

@AmpleNickel4262: Those are armor panel slopes but grinded down a bit to look that way. It's an UncleSte mod ;)
@LordAlexkog:Hopefully but i doubt it, because that is more oriented to cpu physics calculation. But who knows in the future. And atm i entered in the world of the last ship that im working on and the 90% of the mods didn't updated their skins. I think the only one that did that was sage with his thruster mod. So most likely this weekend will not be a new ship :(

Will someone PLEASE GOD tell me what that modded block that looks like the vanilla slitted window is? It's in the back near engine area (it's sort of like a grate armor panel) of this ship.

@ColonelAngus: Thanks! but most likely that would not happen. There are some things that aren't available on vanilla that are 100% necessary for this kind of builds.

@Kam Solastor: i´ll respond to you in this thread because you made some comments in others ships too but they all go to the same route. Yes there is drag in almost every ship that i made in the last months but honestly i expend to much time trying to counteract this physic defect, i could tell you that is not even worth it the hassle. For example now i´m working in a cargo ship that has a big elevator like camura but bigger. And there is no way that i can make it stable. When i fly the ship the elevator gets all glitchy into the ship structure, even with all the sides surrounded by maglocks.
In resume even if you try to fit a ship with something small like a landing gear something will go wrong, so the only solution is to build ships without moving parts with in my opinion defeats the purpose of an engineering game.

Very nice design - I liked the cannon sequence and the man-controlled gun turrets. Reminds me of the scene in Jedi Outcast where you get to take control of a small ships turret to fight off some stormtroopers. As with the Galente, there's some drag on it - some moving part is not fully secured. All in all, seems like a very nice little craft.

@Greenmask20: Thanks for looking at the issue!. Have you tryed just placing a block anywhere in the platform and the activating the doors? that for me fixes the doors getting stuck. But i will try your solution to see if works from the GEC-go :P

I have uploaded a screenshot of a "proof of concept" alternative to using the ramps to provide a "seal" on the hanger doors using ramps and blast door sections. I have tested it with another 25 complete cycles (fully open and fully close) with no issues, but you might test it yourself just to make sure. Screenshot is on my profile under screenshots.

The issue with the hanger doors not closing is due to the ramps and armor corner on top of the hanger where the doors close. After removing them I did 25 complete cycles with no collision issue. Simply remove the ramps and armor corner (No need to remove the center 3 [2 for sign and 1 in middle], they cause no issue)
