I don't really get the purpose of the design. I think for some reason when the term "Dungeon Crawler" was thrown I was thinking either more randomized elements or something with a little more depth. But I guess it's exactly what's described on the tin. The environment design itself is flat and blocky throughout and feels like a "my first level". It's also frustrating to have only one branching path for replay.

Also, the doors seemed to lock shut at inappropriate times, leaving me unable to progress if I misstep.

Interesting idea presented, but really needs to be balanced, detailed, and tested more.

It is kinda unbalanced and hard. I got bored after 2nd level and left the game for the first time. Then, I gave it another chance.

Map has its way of presenting itself (not my cup of tea though), but I don't like repetitive areas and get bored sometimes because of it.

I got stuck because of some doors like other people as well. Very inadequate health bar placement.

Placing health kits after the map is done? I think they should have been placed in the middle of the game where you fight with enemies :)

Other than that, it was an okay map IMHO.

I know this is a "dungeon crawler" but it was really uncreative map design wise, maybe add some atmosphere to your future maps. That said it was still fun to play.

Sorry, I forgot an important thing!
I left it not for frustration because I got pretty forth on that, but also because:

1) No checkpoints and 2) (related to the first point) I got to the place where there was two doors and once they opened once they did not open anymore, so I thought ''I ain't gonna do again all that long part'' and so passed to Quest.

It is also interesting that there aren't a lot of ammos so you have to play smartly, but probably that's not the right chose of enemie... still I can't think of anything better.

Also, there are a lot of objects that are usable but in this map (and in Quest too) aren't, and that's lame.

I hope you fix this map, it has got potential!

Yeah. This map had quite a lot of flawls. The main problem is that before I published it I was the only one to have play tested and the author isn't really the best to do that. But your feedback has been very helpful. Thanks :D

The idea is cool, but I haven't finished it.
It's too unbalanced, and I got frustrated and left it.

Mainly, because there are too less medkits but most of all because the areas are too close.

It reminded me a bit of Doom 3 when I met the scientists that wished me good luck, and of Wolfenstein 3D for the whole map. The Quest reminded me of WOLF3D too but that was superior to this map!

keep improving, it has potential

Thanks for the feedback. I can now see some of the areas where the map falls short. Im currently working on a sequel which will hopefully have improved on the problems with my first map. As always leave anymore suggestions and feedback you have and thanks for playing! :D

Looks fun, but very simple desigh and to many doors. I understand this map, like just battle area but this map looks not good.
A few door open just once and i was stuck.
Also this map need a few autosaves.
First car in the beginning map located a few units above the ground.

This isn't too bad. It's really basic, but it does what it says on the tin - it's a dungeon crawler. It's playable, but it really needs autosaves! Also, it's a good example of how wonky and inconsistent the Black Mesa Shotgun can be, since you're forced to use it for half the level. That's not the author's fault, of course, but just an observation.

That was good fun, has a retro feel, reminded me of Wolfenstein in terms of structure and layout. Especially the switches to open the doors made it feel like an old-school FPS. Only played the map once but I liked the choice in the second chamber where you could either go to the rooms with the zombies or the rooms with those lizard things. Would love a sequel with more enemy variety, i.e. with human grunts perhaps. Thumbs up!

all right i have played it again and it was a lot better more balanced so it deserves a thumps up but i think there need to be a message about the 2 bottoms it is a little confusing on my first try i din't really get the idea of them so i just pressed them and just thoght it was nothing but on me secend try i noticed that they unlocked the door but nice anyway

its was all right but i think there need to be a little more ammo in the map and the alien grunts seems to be a little op at the moment i ain't gonna vote since it chuld use some inproments
