this is basically the Garry's Mod 9 version of gm_construct, just ported to the latest Garry's Mod with some edits

are you referring to the actual skybox isolated section for the building effect part of the skybox? if that's the case, it's likely incompatible with skypaint, or the effect no longer works

the sky is working fine, its the skybox not working. i perhaps worded that poorly

so i just checked the map, skypaint is working. You likely have an interfering mod, I checked the sky editor, it changed the sky

also, the camera is part of an easter egg

the skybox should work, keep in mind this was once the gmod 9 version, just made more modern, I'll take a look at the map later, it may need a recompile

those barnacles sure are something, dunno what the camera is for. is there a reason why the skybox is there but isn't enabled? does it not work with skypaint?

long story short, I got reported last time. Valve removed my name. If this one gets removed, valve had better brace themselves for a lengthy battle of challenging them on it, as it's TECHNICALLY not directly offensive, as I didn't use any actual dirty terms

@𝔇𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔪𝔰𝔒𝔣𝓒𝑦𝔞𝔫𝔦𝔡𝔢 sorry if I never responded, if you're wondering what the icon was still, it was either a photo of christmas lights, or a bobcat (not the machine, i meant the animal, it's actually a real species of feline, but it's not domesticated and is VERY dangerous)

fun fact: this was actually a decompiled and edited version OF the Garry's Mod 9 version, and I will say this: this map, was quite a pain. For some reason, the BUILDING SKYBOX had a light_environnend AS WELL as the main map. There is only supposed to be one, so unless Garry himself made the light_environment entity isolated to segments in Garry's Mod 9, he messed up, but the likely reason was a compatability breaker, it's why I had to delete that entity from the skybox. Also, I meant the out of the main map skybox where the camera that makes the not real buildings is. In any case, thank you for your feedback.

Here's a hint: a combine camera is in one of the dark rooms, the easter egg is tripped when it senses a player and the light goes red. if you can figure out what it does and where in the map it is, which shouldn't be too hard, you can post that info. you just need to look

i know it's a community mod, but the conversation started with my insult to the gmod devs, they are quite the pricks. Then some guy basically posted it was made by valve, so i put my response insulting facepunch. That's what i was referring to in my responce to you. Now please, i don't want to keep going on about this with many people. When i posted that remark about the devs, i was hoping to not get a bunch of people involved in a conversation like this

Facepunch was started by Garry Newman, even if he doesn't run it now, it's STILL not a Valve company. If you bothered to look at the loading screen for gmod, it has the facepunch logo. And as i said earlier, facepunch is fulled with dumb moderators and admins who are ban happy, so f**k facepunch to hell

valve never made garry's mod, gmod was created by Garry Newman, it started as a sourcemod and eventually made it on steam as a paid sandbox game. Garry's Mod is currently developed by a company Garry made called facepunch studios, and their forums are filled with dumb admins and mods who are ban happy. So really, why should i support the devs?
