that's really cool.
What are the LCD textures you used?

well it can fly straight and has decent acceleration and meh turning it qualifies as a P-47 (i call it the flying rock) so good enough for me ill sub

I think it fly's great. It has good acceleration. It turns well though not like my other 2 fighters as it is not supposed to be used as a dog fighter. It is meant to be a stable gun platform and not twitchy like a fighter.

does it handle like a flying rock?

Kam Solastor I took a look at the power and have found at no point that it goes into overload. Let me know what you did you get it to go into overload.

Thank you Zantrance.

Interesting ship. Did notice a little drift when flying also. Very good design.

OK i uploaded the one with the landing gear fix. I will play around with the blast shield Idea. still I am not sure you would make close passes with this any way. I think I would make long distance bombing runs with the 120s. Also I really want to put 2 hard points on the bottom to allow for carrying GPS torpedoes or decoy torpedoes.

Aha. Nice. Also, I might suggest .... perhaps a 'blast shield' (hanger doors 1x1x3) in front of the bubble cockpit? Gonna get real messy when shots start coming in and you lose oxygen and die..

Found the problem. Cockpit was fine but I added 2 more locks just because it had room. The problem was the rotors in the landing gear. I placed locks under the rotors themselves and no more drag.

Check the cockpit seals - you might need some more landing gear there / more support

okey thanks

Thanks for the tip Kam. I also noticed the problem with the drag. I am going to look into fixing that tonight.

I tested it out a bit - overall it seems like a cool design - though a few tips I might add. I noted first off, when flying, something in the 'moving parts' section seems to be unsecured - the ship seems to drop and drift a bit just when flying straight - this is caused by a moving part causing, essentially, drag somewhere on it because it's not secured fully.

Second, I noticed that though you have a good couple of reactors on there, it's not nearly enough to run just the engines and systems, let alone weapons or combat maneuvering on top of that. My suggestion - first, get some nice Azimuth or Hyperion reactors - for the same size you can get about 4-5x the power. Additionally, remove a pair of the reactor spaces you already have, and install some batteries - like the power capacitor mod - they're 1x1x1, and can give you a nice power boost.

Lastly, armament - it seemed okay - but this ship is supposed to kill /capital ships/ - I myself have worked extensively on a small fighter designed to do something similar. I would suggest a mod such as the 'micro mini missile launcher' and the SE Mini gatling mod - so essentially, 1x1x1 gatling turrets, and 2x1x1 missile turrets for small ships, using small conveyors. That way your pilot can focus on dodging the capital ships guns and not trying to line up a shot with his own fixed guns - in which time you can be blown to smithereens.

Azimuth Industries seat.

what is the cockpit you use?
