Shuko, I suggest to limit the RPGs of CSAT to one per man, they manage to take us out most of the times once we land, and they have so many of them... Great mission!

Shuko, we play this mission regularly on CiA coop nights, it's just awesome. One suggestion, add one more slot of an explosive expert with a handful of anti-personnel mines. Sometimes the AI gang up on us, it would be so cool to see them trigger some mines :)

I spawn in and 3 seconds later it says mission failed. I don't even get a chance to play the mission.

This is a great mission, for best immersion play with ACRE or Task Force Radio as your only means of communicating with the downed crew, makes for an intense feeling when you first pick up a faint radio signal! Well done Shuko! we'd love to see some more missions based on this idea, maybe with ground vehicles for the rescue team (you could give them a UAV to help them track down the grounded team).

@commanderRaky: It's a multiplayer mission, you need to have human players in both groups.

Pretty nice mission! It's so intense that it has a quite high failure ratio I think, but that is made up by the random spawns.

Excellent mission. I would recommend adding a copilot to make the logistics of communication and checking the map easier

In the parameters you can choose who has compass. Options are CSAR only, Group Leader or everyone. Default is Group Leader.

I'm glad you liked it. I try to design and balance all my mission so that all the slots are played by humans. So, going with AI they can be much harder. The dead-on-arrival bug is caused by bad luck when the position randomly picked by the script. I made it as good as I could and tweaked it for Arma 2 maps, but Altis is pretty similar. About the seeing helos, the mission is designed to be played on with server settings, which disable the "noob assistants" like extra icons etc. I wasn't able to script and make everything perfect, I just have to trust the players to go with the intent of the mission, which is part of the them being totally lost. :)

My buddy and I had a great time playing this. It was a little tough with just two players, but it wouldn't have been fun if it was easy. Only glitches we had is that occasionally, downed helo players were dead when entereing game, but was easily fixed with restart. Only other issue was that we had maps turned on and my buddy was hosting and could see the downed helo in the beginning map, so he had a general idea where to go, but when I was flying rescue, I couldn't see the downed helo ont he initial map, so made it harder for me. It was just odd that it was different for host and non-host. Thanks for creating. It is great!

The misson fails soon as u start Rate = 0!
