does not work for me, even with the newest MTSE

After hours of testing, I can confirm that this is NOT broken for me since Sunset Harbour. Posting this in case people try to troubleshoot.

just wanted to report an issue with this as well as the cross pattern:
a) if you have a line of 3 or more stations you can not add stops on the return path, e.g.

x1---x2---x3

you can make a line from x1 to x2 to x3 but on the rutrn path you can not add x2 as a stop you have to complete the whole line from x3 to x1 and skip x2.

the vanillar stations allow for such a behaviour.

b) if you make a loop you can only add a line in one direction, i.e.

x1---x2
l l
l l
x4--x3

if you connect x1 to x2 to x3 to x4 you can not create a backwards line from x4 to x3 to x2 to x1

again this behaviour works with the vanilla stations

i use spawn point fix to use multiple trains in one station

Works great with the Multi-Track Station Enabler 1.1.0

Got it subscribed and working without traffic++, no need to change anything.
Works great. Thanx :-)

@CZ_bpk: Either will work (they have the same code inside contributed by SimsFirehouse/MTSE). You should only use one or the other though otherwise there will be problems.

MTSE was the original and the required code was then subsequently added to Traffic++.

I could remove Traffic++ from the 'required items' list as it is strictly only optional rather than required. Would that help?

Description says "Use Traffic++ or Multi-Track Station Enabler" but you are only able to subscribe with Traffic++ installed not if you only use Multi- Track Enabler??

Very effective. Nice to have the subway tracks crossing one another - saves a lot of hassle

For SimFirehouse's (MTSE) tutorial all about manipulating the paths.

Tks :)

This is the greatest thing Ive ever seen

You need to hold down the (Left?) Shift key to allow it to 'snap' to platforms 3 & 4 when using Traffic++ (or MTSE) to create routes or stops.

I can't seem to get it working. I can only create lines at on of the two sides. Is there a special trick to this?
I have Traffic++ installed. Do I have to change something in the options?

Ok. Done. Added a new 4 platform station with the platforms in a cross (+) pattern at -4m and -12m.

Ah! You mean in a cross pattern? I will see what I can do.

I am considering the following additional stations.

1. 2 platform L-12 which will work without mods.
2. 2 platform L-24 which will work without mods.
3. 4 platform + configuration with platforms at -4 and -12 (requires Traffic++ or MTSE)

This is amazing!! The amount of interchanges I have that get clogged up with trains queuing up for one pair of platforms!
Here's the question - in light of some comments below - could you make more different versions?
1 - as mentioned, another set of platforms at -12m directly below, and
2 - 2 pairs at 90 degrees from each other. Perpendicular platforms would be VERY helpful for interchanges (i.e. North to South crossing with East to West) - very common in subway systems.

that would be great if you make a metro station with two different levels. mayby like this but with a third tunnel which cross the station in a other direction

This is awesome! Perfect for transport hubs!

I was considering adding other stations with just 2 platforms but at -12m and -24m rather than the default -4m.

I don't think perpendicular would be sensible.
vikenty27 1 Jun, 2015 @ 6:02pm
Wonderful.

Is it possible to create a station with perpendicular platforms on different depths (like in Cities in motion)?
Vimes 1 Jun, 2015 @ 10:59am
This looks to be really good and I have just created a double line from this metro station. Excellent work and thanks for sharing.

Seems fine with the Traffic++ and IPT mods. Need to test further in the game to see how well it works

Oh what a tangled web we weave, or so do my metro lines look like - good job they are hidden...!
