Can you make it compatible with the amplified DLC? :redbat:

Six outta four if you count transparency, five outta three if you don't.

I wasn't counting transparancy as a color I could change. Here's the colors used for Mega Man. [i.imgur.com]

I found a gif showing why this wasn't used more. [i.imgur.com]

Also, I've updated the description since Yacht Club Games didn't stick as close to the limitations as I thought they did.

Six outta four

That's the colors used in the game. It has five colors per sprite, just like Mega Man's.

Mega Man used a trick where his face was a seperate sprite overlayed over his body. I think Shovel Knight's devs may have gone a bit overboard with that idea.

You're also using way too many colours per sprite

The Steam Community went down before I could respond...
That looks like the same colors, aside from the four SK colors.

I removed two duplicate colors (30 and 2D) and moved the light blue (31) to 2D's place (Far left). I don't remember why though...

What do you mean? Did I get some colors wrong? I may have used some of the four colors that were in SK but not on the NES palette.

Here's the palette I used. [i.imgur.com]

"following the NES palette"
That's a pretty good joke.

Speaking of the Order of No Quarter, would there be some possibility in adding them in as bosses/minibosses? This could also go well with some of the enemies, slimes could be Blorbs, ghost could be Invisishade, skeleton wizards...Wizzem? (I question some of these enemy names, Yacht Club Games.)

I have a Black Knight mod in progress that I'm working on at random. The plan is to have his armor sets be based mostly off of the Order of No Quarter.

Here's a WIP pic. [i.imgur.com]

By the way, the Gi armor's colors are based on the Conjurer's Coat, which increased SK's magic at the cost of some defense. :necroshovel:

You could also skin the second player to look like dark knight, it would make them more visually distinctive

...what's the Gi armor?

Sweet!
