how do you make the animation longer
JESTER 8 Mar, 2016 @ 2:28pm
How do you use this or apply it?

You can use the motion or graph editor to edit the animation. Or I can also provide the original .dmx file if needed.

how to edit the animation?

@Mage Kid I have also created another poster. I decided to mess with lighting on a newer poster, and that lighting was perfect. I'm incorporating it with most of my posters. The poster is here. http://kitsolin.deviantart.com/art/Zero-To-Hero-539050609

That poster. I'm definitely going to save that.

@kitsolin

Load the scout model, right click and find the word 'import sequences' or 'import animation', then find the scout_run_cycle.dmx and you're finally free to manipulate the root transform using the graph editor

One question (New to SFM) how do I load in the run cycle?

Version 1.1 is now out. Changes have been updated in the description.

I used to watch Ed, Edd 'n Eddy back then. I'll take a look into that.

Good luck in revising the run cycle. You know what might be good, imitating some cartoon shows run cycle like say, Patrick's run cycle or if you've hear of Ed, edd n Eddy, then try imitate their run cycle

I did ainimate the spine a bit, but it looks like it's only noticeable just from stepping in the frames. I'll upload a revision when I get the chance since I also did notice some problems with the arms. I also might make another version of the run cycle to give it more of a "running" look.

If you don't get what I mean, here's a reference made by Preston Blair, some of the things found can be applied to sfm

Surfer171 offers a better critique than I can offer, but on the surface it seems okay. Can you show us a frame-by-frame breakdown?

Looks a bit like a jog to me :/ but still, looks good. Try giving the spine a lil reaction like as the foot came down, the spine bends down a bit and when the foot came back up, the spine moves back to the original position.
