Well if you say so i´ll have to make a couple of tries on Deity before i change it, but thx for the help :D
shadowevil  [author] 23 Jul, 2015 @ 1:07pm
Go to the mod, it's inside the XML file, trait.xml, and just scroll down and remove "<Trait_NoTrain>
<Row>
<TraitType>TRAIT_RESISTANCE</TraitType>
<UnitClassType>UNITCLASS_SETTLER</UnitClassType>
</Row>
</Trait_NoTrain>"

Which should allow you to build them, but this again is still viable even in Deity because you get benefits from capturing cities, granted AI will hate you but yeah.
Warimano 23 Jul, 2015 @ 1:03pm
ohh ok, Where do i find the traits, just in this mods folder? Reason i´m saying this is because i usually play emperor and above and without settling new cities there is no way to keep up with AI on higher difficulties
shadowevil  [author] 23 Jul, 2015 @ 1:01pm
this is still largely viable to play even without building settlers, I've had a lot of people come to me saying that this is a correct venice lol, and it matches with the way that the actual Crimson Raiders used to be. if it bothers you then you can go manually on the trait and remove it, but you won't have any city names unique to the civilization, and I believe that you can use settlers but you can't make them
Warimano 23 Jul, 2015 @ 12:59pm
plz remove the no settlers thing; there is a reason that no one wants to play Venice :/
солидная змея 11 Jul, 2015 @ 12:03am
oh,ok...
shadowevil  [author] 11 Jul, 2015 @ 12:03am
yeah, they use resources from both of them, actually
солидная змея 10 Jul, 2015 @ 11:57pm
oh... i think this mod dont need any of DLC's. ok,ill buy it and play as raiders.and also, hyperion and other empires made by you nees gods and kings?
shadowevil  [author] 10 Jul, 2015 @ 11:56pm
you also need gods and kings, because it uses faith lol
солидная змея 10 Jul, 2015 @ 11:55pm
fuck!why i cany play as raiders?! i got bnw(brave new world) and its not working! D: how i can fix it?
shadowevil  [author] 15 Jun, 2015 @ 8:14pm
(You need both)
shadowevil  [author] 15 Jun, 2015 @ 8:14pm
You probably are missing gods and kings/brave new world
Avo 15 Jun, 2015 @ 5:14pm
Hey what am I missing? I attempted to download this mod, along with your other work, Handsome Jack leader. It said that this mod was missing "certain requirements" and the Handsome Jack mod did not even show. Is there anything that supports these mods?
shadowevil  [author] 13 Jun, 2015 @ 12:25pm
Yeah, my bad. I call them hammers xD
Christianv11B 13 Jun, 2015 @ 12:24pm
Hammers?.. you mean production?..
Jive Turkey 13 Jun, 2015 @ 4:19am
Nice work though, looks great.
shadowevil  [author] 13 Jun, 2015 @ 3:04am
Ah, it does have the icon on it to not spread confusions
Jive Turkey 13 Jun, 2015 @ 3:02am
I completely thought this was the Crimson Caravan corp. from Fallout New Vegas at first. You can understand my confusion.
shadowevil  [author] 12 Jun, 2015 @ 2:41am
I mean, thanks for the ideas but I'll probably implement my own, but I'll highly consider your suggestions
Z3r0_ 12 Jun, 2015 @ 2:34am
So basically the Torgue Corporation focuses on Land-Based militaristic play, while Marcus Munitions focuses primarily on City-State diplomacy and economics.
Z3r0_ 12 Jun, 2015 @ 2:32am
And now for the second one:

Marcus Munitions:
Leader: Marcus Kincaid
Ability: No Refunds! - Additional gold from trade routes and influence from gifting military units to City-States (the latter being a reference to the Bloodshots worshiping him as a god after he gave them free guns).
Unique Unit Option 1: Hired Gun - Replaces either Riflemen or Great War Infantry. Costs less gold to purchase and comes with the "Bribe" promotion that grants a chance to capture defeated units (referencing Marcus' implied tendency to sometimes send assassins to eliminate his competitors in the most literal sense and seize their inventory for himself).
Unique Unit Option 2: Arms Dealer - Replaces Missionaries. Generates gold when expended to convert cities to your religion. A reference to his giving away guns to the Bloodshots.
Unique Building: Marcus Statue - Replaces the Shrine. Gives a production bonus when building land units, and is basically the statue found atop the Bloodshot Ramparts.

You're welcome shadow. In fact, since you mentioned those, here's some ideas for them (split into two posts because of character limits):

Torgue Corporation
Leader: Mr. Torge
Ability: Gyrojets - Gunpowder melee units deal additional damage in combat (we'll say +15% combat strength). Referencing the fact that as of Borderlands 2, all Torgue firearms fire gyrojet projectiles with explosive properties instead of conventional bullets.
Unique Unit Option 1: Badassasaurus - replaces either the GDR or Modern Armor, and can launch a ranged attack with its missiles before engaging in melee combat with its flamethrower (basically the Impi's ability).
Unique Unit Option 2: Torgue Bike - replaces the Machine Gunner. Basically it's a machine gun that can move at twice the speed of the regular one, being able to move 4 tiles per turn by default.
Unique Building: Torgue Vendor - Replaces the Armory and gives a 10% production bonus to building military units.
shadowevil  [author] 12 Jun, 2015 @ 12:00am
Hmm, alright thank you for the ideas 23r0 Gaming, I needed that. I might start with Marcus or Torgue next
Poob 11 Jun, 2015 @ 4:15pm
it will make conquest a little easier, and yet you made the game a little lesss racist, now blacks are in the game too!
Z3r0_ 11 Jun, 2015 @ 1:43pm
Here's some ideas for more Borderlands Civs:

Dahl Corporation/Lost Legion (led by either Harcheck or Colonel Zarpedon)
Torgue Corporation (led by, you guessed it, Mr. Torgue)
Eridians (led by the Eridian Sentinel)
Bandits (led by either Baron Flynt, Captain Flynt, or Flanksteak)
Slabs (led by Brick)
Scavs (led by either Deadlift or Redbelly)
Aegrus/Handsome Jack Cult (led by Professor Nakayama)
Claptrap Robolution (led by the Interplanetary Ninja Assassin Claptrap)
Zombies (led by Doctor Ned)
Sand Pirates (led by Captain Scarlet)

And finally...

Marcus Munitions (led by Marcus Kincaid). No, really, I mean the guy has a monopoly on virtually the entire weapons and ammunition markets on both Pandora and its moon Elpis, and one bandit faction LITERALLY worships him as a god, so that's gotta count for something. I even have a name for the special ability: "No Refunds!", though I'm not sure what it would do...
Z3r0_ 11 Jun, 2015 @ 1:32pm
I would've made the Outrider their unique unit tbh, and had it replace the machine gunner. Its main benefit, of course, would be that as a vehicle, it would be faster, but it would require iron resources to build.
Samantha the Demoncat 11 Jun, 2015 @ 3:01am
i have waited for this mod sense i got civ V for christmas. good job!
Wakistani Muslim 11 Jun, 2015 @ 1:52am
Waiting for this for ages, thanks!
Imperialcheese 10 Jun, 2015 @ 3:55pm
thank you i love bl2
Tap.Water 10 Jun, 2015 @ 2:02pm
I never truly enjoyed Borderlands, but this mod has made me love the game series. Darn you, and thank you.
Deeshuur 10 Jun, 2015 @ 1:57pm
So far I've been enjoying this civ's playstyle, though my only minor gripe is with their Unique Unit. Wouldn't it make more sense for them to appear further up the tech tree? Like Infantry perhaps. To kinda go along with the fact that they appear in the time of giant H's in the sky xD Still very nice work.
