Any chance u will update ur school collection for After Life?, this is a must have in any big city, my education district looks like a black hole, no lights.

Out of the thousands of assets I have, this one is utterly indespensible in a high density city. Thankyou so much for this and your other education buildings!

I love this collection so much, fully modular buildings make me so happy. Thanks for creating them!

Those are extension buildings for high school. They kind of link to the side of the school with stats equivalent to a vanilla high school. I am currently testing how the model behaves with respect to the terrain and if it plays well. Hopefully I can upload it tomorrow complete with tooltips and screenshots. Hmnn.. the main building will have that bottle, yup maybe the extensions will not have them, its too much I guess.

Oh damn what is that big school lol. I would kind of prefer it not to have the science bottles on the top though.

@Shroomblaze Okay, screenshot and tooltip updated. The others will have to wait, updating these details in the workshop is a bit of a pain and more so for me as most times it won't upload at first try and I have to do it several times, and I'm a bit lazy (lol). But yeah, it's worth it though. Hmmn.. now the upload images are working, that didn't work for me before. Okay I'll try to add screenshots tomorrow, hopefully it will work again.

You really should update your screenshots then. I think a lot of people probably didn't subscribe for the fact that it was looking like a blowup toy.

@Shroomblaze Yup updated it (June 16 upd). Used Shading:Flat and removed Edge Smoothing when exported to fbx, I'm using Blender btw. I didn't adjust the bevel width since the inflatable blowup effect is now gone, but considering lowering it to future models. I'm not very good at texturing, maybe I'll update it again when I learn how to make the texture look more like CS, a bit gritty and well used. But so far I'm liking it, maybe a bit like SimCity, clean and newly minted looking. I hope the changes improved the model's looks a bit. Thanks for the feedback.

How's the update going?
Kimchi 15 Jun, 2015 @ 8:38am
Ill give that a shot might give me an excuse to have an "Education" grid/district.
gido505  [author] 15 Jun, 2015 @ 7:40am
@Kimchi I know the feeling. I wish we could add multiple "stick to road" orientation to a single model. Instead of creating assets with the same model facing different directions and clutter our menus. Btw the shorter side is actually the front of this building. I was thinking you could place the university then one elementary on both sides of it, then add high schools at both ends. You'll have the basic campus and two 8x4 space behind both the elementary for a basketball court, a tennis court or a park, provided you did a grid type road layout.
Kimchi 15 Jun, 2015 @ 6:56am
I love your school any way you can make them face the same direction?
gido505  [author] 15 Jun, 2015 @ 6:40am
@Shroomblaze Yup clicked the Shading:Smooth button. I can see what you mean. Perhaps too much bevel also. I'll try to see how Shading:Flat goes and apply a lesser bevel width. Thanks for the feedback. Btw I've read your tips at reddit on the vehicle blinkers' illumination map while browsing thru, helped me a lot, thanks.

Ok these are some cool looking schools, but my issue with them is that you've applied smoothing groups all over them which makes the buildings look like they are inflatable blow up toys imo. I'd much rather see them with sharp edges.
