Very nice mod. With so many factions, this is great for imagining a scenario where a galactic sector has been stranded in a warp storm for centuries, and now the remnant factions of larger empires are expanding into space once more. You can play specific chapters, eldar craftworlds, branches of Imperial service, Tyranid hiveworlds, Chaos cults, etc. Lots of diversity with some basic faction principles, like Imperial factions using hyperdrives, Chaos tending towards slipstream, Eldar using Gates and being Starchildren, but much variety in traits within larger faction types. Faction portraits are awesome. Also has the benefit of eliminating the "Oko wins all" games we've all played.

Dalo Lorn is correct. Right now it's just essentially a selection of races. I might try my hand with the ships down the road, but not likely any time soon.

i poured through google for warhammer mods and found almost nothing exept one dead mod for empire at war and something for sins of a solar empire, then i decide randomly to buy star ruler 2 because i played the first one in middle school and liked it. then i see this up on the workshop advertising. ahhhh god of luck you smile upon me.

Okay. Bad. Bad. BAD. (Just another typical beginner's error, but bad nonetheless. :P)

Your file is called presets.txt. The vanilla file is also called presets.txt. Because of this, your mod does two things wrong:

1. You've broken compatibility with anyone else who makes the same mistake you did (and seeing as doing it like this is the most obvious choice when you're still getting your feet wet, there have been and inevitably will be more mods like that :P), as no two mods can modify the same file at any time.

2. You've removed all the vanilla presets. Unless you meant to do that, you should really fix that. :P
