Of course it is. Not only she tells a story, it is more about getting part of it. Never seen that much detailed societys so a whole alien species gets imaginable. Well, Brin's Uplift Universe is getting near, but isn't focusing on one person view like Cherryh.

Right? Cyteen is still among the greatest and most nuanced novels I have ever read, alongside the likes of Vinge's Fire Upon the Deep and of course Dune.

Yeah, thx, have fun enjoying them. Well, as written, I had to adopt pictures a bit as I found them fitting my imagination and surely every reader may have gotten different pictures in mind. In my personal view, Mahendo'Sat are way more ...ah... shifty then any other aspect. Feel free to copy and adopt them the way you think will fit best. Just give some credit if you put them into workshop as well. Probably I'll add some more factions like Dusei or Maziani once I manage to include them as minor civs into workshop. See, Cherryh's storys have that many loose threads...in a positive way for the reader, to open them many different conceivable outcomes. Best way to raise reader's imagination...

It's awesome to see that there are still C.J. Cheryh fans besides me! I can't want to try these. By the way, you don't have a portrait of the MhendoSat that's more simian... more ape like do you? It's been a long while but I but I think that's how they were described in "Pride". Oh, and how about adding a Manziani civ? Late on the Alliance-Union timeline (ala Downbelow Station) after they were cut off from Earlth Company. (I know, picky picky, right?)

Thx, well unfortunately the Foreigner isn't offering too much factions. Probably I'll add them to my loose collection of alien species. Some still open here (Dusei for Mri), but I guess they better fit a minor faction mod later.
