Now with this mod we'll see more untextured objects and no, this is not missing textures ala purple-black chess squares, these are textureless objects showing only polygons of white lines that are very noticeable in such chapters as "Residue Processing" and especially in “Surface Tension” is a total mess there and it’s now uncomfortable to play. Cool mod, replacing almost all Earthly locations, regarding cliffs, rocks and sand, creating a winter atmosphere in New Mexico, yup a good mod... was until it was rolled back to outdated, the mod worked, it’s clear until the full release and after somewhere until the end of 2022-th and by the way, I went through this mod when the Blue Shift remake-mod came out, not all the textures were replaced for the winter mod and it worked as is, but somehow the mod now doesn't work correctly even in the orig. game BM, although it was released and last updated in 2015.

My god, Black Mesa is located in New Mexico, and the disaster occurs in December.It means it literally happens in the winter. But the idea is cool, textures can be useful if I will create some SFM project.

I haven't tested this mod in awhile, so bugs most likely will be present. Sorry for that, I didn't make it originally.

The mod may be incompatible with newer versions of Black Mesa. Remember, I didn't make any of this, this was done by ysrael214 way back for the 2012 mod version of the game. It makes sense if it doesn't work anymore.

I abolutely love this addon. Staring at red gives me a headache, but the cool evironment is well, cool!

It replaces everything. There are one or two bugs though as this was developed for the mod version of the game. It all still works great, there's just a rock here and there that aren't textured. Nothing huge.

I have a question. If I get both parts of this mod, will it retexure all of the desert or only some levels? (except for that rock I heard about in the comments.)

Also, what about cubemaps adjusted for snow for next update?

Mod is nice change to Black Mesa. Looks epic in its own way. But I've got desert Abrams camo and Humvee/apache default camo wich not fit winter enviorment. Loading screens are desert - themed and backgrounds are winter themed. Textures of the plants and shrubs should be removed and that "invisible" cactus with visible spikes always make me laugh. Highly recommended if you get bored with old black mesa desert.

I included the update as a part of this. All you have to do is subscribe. It worked perfectly for me.
