I believe you will have to unlock the Huge tech ships in the tech tree in game or use ` (tild key) and type unlock as cheat command (from the launcher GalCiv.exe cheat), to unlock all tech and should see it then.

I wasn't aware there was a function like you describe. I always just took screenshots with Steam and then cropped them. Interesting.

Yes, the upload picture wont include exported (saved game parts) parts in the pics and a lot of my ships use exported parts. I even have ships that are invisble...lol I've been attaching screen shot pics (slowly) to them. It also likes to take tiny shots too to my frustration.
