No, it only works in space and in zero gravity, due to its ion engines. If you want an utility drone that is somewhat reliable in atmosphere, try the 'Janus': https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=831117327

is this usable in atmosphere? I tried to use it on a survival planet and the drone would not lift off the ground.
