Not understanding why this is labeled "incompatible" by the compatibility report, as it works just fine with al the latest updates, and many legacy/old assets depend specifically on this mod. I understand its no longer necessary moving forward, but I disagree with the wording of this mod being "totally incompatible". Seems it should have a deprecated label or be in the "major issue" category.

现在还兼容吗?
boformer  [author] 28 Mar, 2019 @ 9:05am
not sure if the mod still works though. better get rid of that building
boformer  [author] 28 Mar, 2019 @ 9:05am
no you don't need snowfall
dubiousentertainment 28 Mar, 2019 @ 2:44am
Do I have to have snowfall for this mod? I just want to have a very specific building that was made and I get error messages when loading (presumably because I don't have snowfall)
=SAVERS=#1 16 Jan, 2019 @ 12:09pm
@boformer some of assets are mod dependency what are the side effects if I stay with incompatible mods or deprecated ?
mjm92150 4 Jun, 2018 @ 3:38pm
Hello,
Ouah, it's amazing that ! But when I red the description, is not updated anymore... :''(((
It looks so great !
I hope you are going to change your mind and updated for the latest DLC as Park Life.
Thanks in advance and why don't you ask BloodyPenguin to help you ?
Anyway, it was superb mod !

@AmnesiacGuy
Yes, AG, I have read the description (and I did notice it is no longer viable), but was hoping it could still be used. Turns out, I cannot use it for my purposes.
PS: Sorry I took so long to answer -- my internet was off completely for 10+ days -- hard times .... chuckle..... :^)
RoomMic 22 Mar, 2018 @ 10:09am
@HGscMENTOR have you read the description?
Beth2020 24 Feb, 2018 @ 4:56pm
@Boformer
Hello :^)
Well, your mod is a wonderful idea but since I'm only working with residential, and this mod is limited in residential footprints, apparently, by Colossal parameters, I will go ahead and unsubscribe .... for now ..... but I'm going to be checking back as I'd love to be able to make homes with nice large yards around them (and hi-rises as well)......so I'll stay subscribed to the comments thread and hope some day you and your team will have time (and the inclination) to create a mod like this for residential buildings.
Meantime, keep up the great work - you folks make wonderful mods - and I use some of em. Looking forward to your next one.
:^)

@Boformer
Subbed to your mod.

Properties of it did not show up in the A-Editor so quit to desktop and re-entered. Double-checked Content Manager-Mods-Larger Footprints to be sure it was enabled. It was.

Loaded my 4x4 highlevel Vanilla asset. The Properties box still limited me to Size: 4x4.

So I clicked the sprocket and NEW ASSET, choosing my 4x4 highlevel Vanilla asset. It loaded into the NEW ASSET screen, but the properties box on that was still Size: 4x4.

What am I doing wrong? Why is the properties box not giving me a 16x16 Size choice to work with?
Beth2020 19 Jan, 2018 @ 4:31pm
@BoFormer
Until Bloody Penguin can tell me how to use the Vanilla game buttons to take a residential footprint from 4x4 to 8x8, I'm going to subscribe to your mod and see (on a test game) if it works without "breaking" anything. Those who've subbed to your mod seem to be happy enough with it to ask you not to take it down, so I'm going to give it a try (at least in the interim between now and when I learn how to do this with the in-game tools.
So you can add me to the list of folks asking you to please not remove this from public view or use.
Beth2020 18 Jan, 2018 @ 8:27pm
@Bloody Penguin

You told Berrante that CO implemented their own way of supporting large footprints.....can you tell me how to use their way, please?

I have a Vanilla building that I've increased in footprint from 4x4 to 8x8, so it is now overhanging the roads it butts up against. I just want to, in the Asset Editor, make the footprint for the asset 8x8 tiles so the front of it just hits that big arrow on the ground at the front of the asset. Then I know it will fit correctly on the road. But the AE will only let me go to 4 tiles across and 4 tiles back.

Where is this "support" button (?) from CO for that? I've looked and can't find anything.

What am I doing wrong?
niis-ku 18 Nov, 2017 @ 6:58am
Hmm, I think Aamneesiaa is trying to say: could you make something similar for making larger districts (grids?). I believe the 'Fine road anarchy' mod could help him.

@Amnesia

Votre message n'a pas été très clair en anglais. Tout comme celui-ci pourrait ne pas, parce que j'utilise Google Translate.

What?
AAmneesiaa 6 Sep, 2017 @ 12:49am
you can make same or any human ,for have bigger district create ????
BloodyPenguin 31 Mar, 2017 @ 12:17am
@Sanctioner SBE is deprecated because sub buildings are a feature of vanilla game now.
Sanctioner 30 Mar, 2017 @ 7:22pm
it says sub buildings enabler is deprecated. is that the only way?
boformer  [author] 30 Mar, 2017 @ 9:00am
Use sub buildings
Sanctioner 27 Mar, 2017 @ 5:32pm
hi. i dont have large footprints. 12x13 is max. how can i still get them?
BloodyPenguin 11 Mar, 2017 @ 7:37am
@Berrante That's not correct. As much as I appreciate @boformer's work, CO implemented their own way of supporting large footptints and this mod just causes confusion by being still present in workshop. Even SBE is deprecated now :)
Berrante 26 Jan, 2017 @ 6:52pm
Please, dont remove bro. If they added this to the game, its a piece of your job getting inside the official game. Congratulations!!
NLX78 14 Jan, 2017 @ 4:32am
Yes, please do not remove this mod, without it i get this:

Custom Assets: 528416496.Pulp Mill part 1 (power plant)_Data: Invalid dimensions (Max sizes: 16x8, 15x9, 14x11, 13x12, 12x13, 11x14, 9x15, 8x16)

Thx for all of your awesome mods. I understand that this mod is deprecated, but I'm wondering if there is any workaround for the problem that I'm having: i'm unable to terraform around whatif_85's stadium, because on each load, the terrain reverts to the massive square footprint that you get when you first plop. pics: http://imgur.com/a/XXQnZ I'd like to keep the stadium but it's hard to work around it because the terrain keeps jumping back and forth. Got any tips for me? Help would be greatly appreciated.
DawiD 12 Dec, 2016 @ 7:50am
yeah maybe dont remove it, since im not 100% sure if they added some parts of code to a game.
thebigeasy66 11 Dec, 2016 @ 6:05pm
You don't have to update it, but please don't remove it. That would screw the majority of my assets.
boformer  [author] 11 Dec, 2016 @ 5:51pm
not sure if I'm going to update it. Maybe I will just remove it.
thebigeasy66 7 Dec, 2016 @ 8:58pm
I don't think they did. With this mod disabled the max length is 16 instead of 32. You can verify this in the asset editor.
DawiD 7 Dec, 2016 @ 1:54pm
thebigeasy67 im not 100% but i think they added this mod to a game. im also looking for mods that are making my game crash at save game rn, like everyone else. GJ PARADOX
thebigeasy66 4 Dec, 2016 @ 8:22pm
Hey just a heads up, this mod for some reason does not allow the ingame sub buildings to save properly. That was why I had the problem I described on reddit. I disabled this mod and now it works properly!

So apparently this mod conflicts with the latest patch. Are you going to update it?
PaperClip 4 Dec, 2016 @ 2:57am
@boformer thanks! :)
boformer  [author] 4 Dec, 2016 @ 2:32am
Ya
PaperClip 3 Dec, 2016 @ 8:43pm
@boformer if an asset requires this to work should I download this instead of sub-buildings enabler?
Meteor Daddy 23 Aug, 2016 @ 6:23am
Ok. Gotcha! :D
boformer  [author] 23 Aug, 2016 @ 6:17am
Yes. But don't make buildings larger than 16x16.

Also, I don't guarantee that this will work in the future.
Meteor Daddy 21 Aug, 2016 @ 6:49am
Is this mod still functionable? I wanna use it on my asset. Sub Buildings Enabler is so difficult to use. :steamhappy:
Irgenas 12 Jul, 2016 @ 9:29am
im sorry but if i disable it does it cause problems to the saved game?
boformer  [author] 12 Jul, 2016 @ 2:52am
Yes
Mr.Zombie 11 Jul, 2016 @ 4:32pm
Does this work with the new mod? I want to use some newer and older assets.
boformer  [author] 15 Jun, 2016 @ 4:24pm
Use sub buildings instead. It's a better future proof solution.
TheKillerChicken 15 Jun, 2016 @ 1:10pm
Also: whenever I make a large footprint then convert it to a RICO, it crashes the RICO mod.
boformer  [author] 15 Jun, 2016 @ 7:52am
That's possible. Disable all other mods, it's probably a conflict
TheKillerChicken 14 Jun, 2016 @ 6:48pm
Is it possible to have a 32x32 structure with this mod? I try to do that, however, my game crashes.
