yooooo kswh should add this to the actual game (or maybe a more polished version!) because i think there should be more variety in cockpits to use for ships lol

ps only reason Azimuth Remastered does not work bc there weapons on the Azimuth Remastered so again i hope one day you make a stand alone Azimuth Fighter Cockpit

@SEModder4 sadly since Azimuth Remastered does not work with wc i will not use it so i hope one day you make a new Azimuth Fighter Cockpit mod one day

I will most likely keep this one original and you all can switch to the Azimuth Remastered version. :)
We could probably upload the azimuth remastered fighter cockpit as a separate mod. But Only that one.

I will know more as we get closer to Update 6.

Correction: Some of the LCDs seem to be named incorrectly. Bottom Center is the one that doesn't line up.

Not sure if it's just me but the LCDs dont seem to be aligning correctly anymore. I would really appreciate it if you looked into it :)

I don't have an ETA on the new refreshed version of the Fighter cockpit just yet, but when I do, I will post here.

So far it is looking EPIC, same shell but smoother and all the screens will be LCD-- 5+ LCD screens.

I don't have 3ds max anymore to do it, but SparkyFox has a brand new azimuth fighter cockpit in the works right now. :D

@Shrekalekalakes it's not different in that the behind the scenes code is simply that of a cockpit. A cockpit model can be a single block or a 10x10 block and it makes no difference to how the game handles it. Positioning on the grid doesn't matter either (other than in determining orientation of flight). Provided it's not connected via a subgrid like a rotor or piston you can place it anywhere.

First of all, yes it is different. Your cockpit is one row of small blocks shorter vertically than the vanilla. Which leads me to my next question: in SE does the cockpit need to be connected to particular blocks to work on a grid? Because the vanilla cockpit does not work if I adjust it to one row higher where it would be if it was yours. Seems to need to be connected to all the same blocks the vanilla is, is what Im getting at, does this seem right?

exactly what I just said, I remove the vanilla cockpit and put yours in the same place and no thrust but gyros work

That would be wonderful, I was kind of hoping one of the cockpit variations has them preinstalled. I dont have the skills to use build one in its current state, but if there is a model with all the LCDs pre-placed, then I cant wait to build my next ship with it!

yeah they have been a nightmare to place down after a recent Keen update, they used to be super easy to place but not anymore.

I think I'm going to update the main one to use the new LCD system eventually to avoid the whole placing crap system entirely.

Thanks for the work for this cockpit. Do you have any more detailed guides on how to place the LCD screens? Ive spent over an hour and either delete ones Ive already places or place them in the wrong spot and they appear buried in the cockpits model (or floating around it in space).

It seems very difficult for me to get more than 2 of the screens lined up correctly. I also couldnt figure out how to open/close the glass window like you have in the picture above.

=>Updated Block Variants code so they now all show in one g-menu slot and no longer take multiple ones and also now works better on PC/Xbox when searching for blocks.

=>Fixed Missing cockpit file.(somehow this happened)

=>Added Descriptions to the LCD panels so it is MUCH easier to tell where they go now. :D (sorry this took so long).

I'm looking forward to your next update. You might be able to reduce the amount of blocks since the displays can now be configured. I've used this in the past and look forward to using it in the future.

Has anyone figured out how to place the side LCD's yet? Used to be my favorite cockpit, but post graphics overhaul, I can't figure out the LCD placement. Been at it for an hour and can only get top and lower center screens into place.

Strange... The Centered LCD screens are fine i can see them on the cockpit even tho the Top centered one is a bit darker

But my problem mostly is the left and right If i place a LCD on the top right and i place it i see no LCD on the right side i even checked and indeed there is a LCD screen i placed it higher than the Top centered one and it does indeed show up

*same story for LCD's on the left side*

It does not annoy me too much its just a bit disapointing
